"This is my second purchase with Alienware through their refurbished systems store on Ebay. I am very satisfied with their products. My first purchase was an Aurora m7700 notebook about a year ago. It shipped in brand new condition save a minor issue with the screen lamination right at the bottom. However, with the help of the insightful knowledge base on their website, I was able to disassemble the screen and put it back together so that the imperfection wasn't noticeable anymore. The only issue that I had with the m7700 is a constantly overheating GPU with my GeForce 7800GTX. I found out that this was quite a common issue among people who owned this notebook(also through alienware's website forums). Likewise, the videocard was not manufactured by Alienware so I can overlook that not so minor issue.

I recently purchased an Aurora m9700, and so far, everything is working just great. Again, the system looks brand new save a small scratch on the battery latch underneath the notebook. . . but if that is what allows me to purchase a $2,500 high end gaming notebook for roughly $1,000 less, then I can deal with that. I plan to continue purchasing with Alienware. I use my notebook for everything. I am very satisfied."

Ever since way back as a freshman in High School i began to get into technology and Alienware was my top choice for performance and looks i loved there old huge cases. Anyways so now as a 22 year old i have had my chance to finally get my dream system, In May i ordered My Area-51 ALX which i haven't received yet order number 388867, i really like the fact that they take their time to "build as there own".
So i noticed they sold refurbished laptops and so i went forward last week and purchased the M9700 blue laptop, in a matter of days it was at my doorstep waiting to be explored. I couldn't believe that this system was refurbished i was AMAZED not a single scratch or nick or dent just it was NEW it is beautiful as all there products. I'm still using it without any issues, the only con i would have to say is more tech Specs should be posted on the actual eBay site for all items. With that being said Alienware deserves the best rating out there in every aspect including customer service which is incredible. Now i await my fully loaded ALX on June 17 to unleash another monster! Alienware is out of this world!"

"I decided to take a chance and buy a high end computer because I wanted to take advantage of the coming age of graphics. Previosly I had always owned dells and had been more or less satisfied with them, but I wanted to invest in something I would love. I had heard Alienware computers were the route to go for graphics, and after doing some research I decided it was better than building my own computer.

I could not believe how fast my computer has been. I've got it loaded up with all sorts of stuff and everything works great. Windows XP, no problem! I even added a wireless card and it was as easy as insert cd and then plug and play- with no problems going back and forth from wireless card to previously built in lan connection.

I've also been thoroughly enjoying Age of Conan with suped up graphics. Amazing game with an amazing computer to make it work.

Also I hooked the computer up to a 32inch high def tv that I have been using as a monitor. Looks great and I have no problems switching from tv to computer in one button.

I plan on sticking with Alienware computers in the future and would recommend them to any graphics junky.

"this is my third purchase of alienware merchandise offered through their refurbished systems link on their website. my first purchase was an aleinware m9700 green laptop. with the exception of a couple nicks on the underside of the case (something alienware informs you may exist in refurbished systems) this laptop arrived in as new condition. it has been in use daily for about a year and a half. i was so impressed with the quality of workmanship and performance of the system that when i wanted to purchase a laptop for travel uses only, i came back to alienware. when i saw the m7700's listed in the refurbished systems for sale, i purchased one (m7700 grey laptop). it too came in as new condition. it was so pristinely packaged that i could not distinguish it from a brand new laptop. while i only have been using the laptop on weekends since the purchase date (about 2 months), it has performed flawlessly, and i have been very impressed. i would return to alienware for additional system purchases without hesitation."
