"This business is operated by Ben, and Jessica Solberg. Ben literally hung up the phone on me many times, and Jessica was unwilling to credit me for the $295 even though they had the forms, and received payment from Dish Network, because they could, since I supposedly didn't send the forms in a timely fashion. If you don't have a registered receipt for those forms, the credit card company will not reverse the charge, and ALLSAT will fight you every inch on it. Dish Network felt so bad, they actually settled it for me, in the form of extra equipment. If they send you a form that says, you agree NOT to fight the credit card company (and by the way, pay us $30 for that right), DON'T SIGN IT! See www.allsatsucks.com for other complaints as well."
"Warning! Do not expect to receive your FREE GIFT from this company when you make your DISH purchase through them. I submitted appropriate paperwork to confirm and the "back office" denied the purchase without notification via e-mail or snail mail. WARNING. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM>"
"I mailed a form back to Dish Network instead of AllSat. They want $30 to send me another one. The form has Dish Network's address right at the top. They tell me if I don't give them $30, they will charge $295 on my card. WTF! I paid. Now I see I'm not the only one getting screwed by them. "This company have a refund policy of 30 days. It does not take into account that if your installation takes more than 30 days. They do not refund your money even if they can not perform their service."
"Ordered a PVR508 standalone receiver. Price was the best I could find on the net in about an hour's searching. Unit arrived 5 bus. days later, as expected. Exchanged a few emails with cust. svc. regarding my tracking number, and they were fast and responsive. I set up the unit and watched TV for about an hour before it turned off, and wouldn't come back on. Dish network's cust. svc. helped me for about 45 min. before declaring the unit dead. I contacted AllSat for a replacement, and their response was that the warranty would be handled through DishNetwork, and not through them. I consider this response to be fair, but not great."
"I was shopping for a DishNetwork system when I came across AllSat. From what I researched, AllSat had the best deal on the upgraded equipment. I ordered their PVR508/Pro301 combo package for less than $160 including shipping and handling. The package included an antenna, PVR508 receiver that allows you to recorde upto 70 hrs of programming with TiVo like features, and Pro301 receiver which is the standard receiver. It also included a free professional installation certificate. On top of the best price I found, they were very prompt with processing my order. Within 24 hours of my order, they emailed me a purchasing agreement which I had to fill and get back to them. I faxed them the filled out form the next day and I received my system four business days after I faxed the form. The whole process took less time than I thought. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a DishNetwork system."
