"I received my PureXS PC on September 15th, so I've had it over 3 weeks. I speak from experience and the glow of the purchase is not upon this review.

There are five sections...
1) Introduction
2) System Specifications
3) Custom Build Quality
4) Support and Customer Service
5) Conclusion

1) INTRODUCTION
Aside from their impeccable build quality, it's the phone support and pleasant support I've received that makes me think "I'm coming back in two years to order upgrades."

Before I decided to go with All American Computers (AAC) instead of building my own box I called them:

I was impressed with the company owner's knowledge and enthusiasm. While willing to build anyone any PC they wanted, if you listened, he would start to explain all the things he's learned about the various parts as a builder. We talked for 1 hour and 45 minutes on the first call, and I hadn't ordered anything, I was just inquiring.

2) SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS

It can run Oblivion outdoors and rarely ever dips below 30FPS. 40-50FPS outdoors is normal with everything turned on.

3) CUSTOM BUILD QUALITY
AAC PCs are custom built and tested. Part of the testing is a 24 hour "burn in" where the CPU is bombarded by high math calculations, the testing application knows the answers in advance, so if, after 24 hours, even one answer is off (heat, voltage, etc.) the guys at AAC will know there's an issue. Since they knew I wanted to play Oblivion most, AAC actually ran the game on my system to make sure there were no texture problems before uninstalling it and shipping me the system.

The price of the PC is higher than ordering parts, but I don't have the advantage of easily changing parts if I order and something goes wrong. Having everything ship to me 100% tested, without the malware of DELL (AAC avoids installing anything but drivers on their PCs), is highly attractive.

The computer has custom cut, custom fitted cables, red lights in its two 120mm fans, and an inverted case that puts the Power Supply at the bottom and compartmentalizes the Hard Drives and Power Supply away from the Motherboard and dual GPUs (Videocards). Airflow is incredibly smooth in this thing, but from a company that is used to building custom liquid cooled PC's, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

4) SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
It is how companies deal with problems and support that really brings out their character, so I'll write about that.

When I got the system I plugged the Crossfire Link into the wrong port on the slave card, so it didn't work. A quick call solved that. The first week I had it I saw some areas in Oblivion that weren't getting the performance I wanted, so I called. Kyle (the owner of AAC) found that by plugging in the Crossfire link to the wrong port, then switching, apparently confused Oblivion. He said he was glad I called because it could have been a problem in other games as well. I uninstalled & reinstalled the ATI drivers (he told me how) and I was set.

Two weeks later my 5.1 surround sound was only coming out of the L & R speakers. I called again, got some friendly help, and uninstalling & reinstalling set everything straight. I should learn the pattern here, but the point is the support:

A) I call because I'm not getting the frame rates in a VIDEOGAME I expect. Rather than blowing me off, they ask me questions and we figure it out.

B) I call because my 5.1 surround is wonky, and they say "It sounds like something has messed with your settings. Try this." and it works.

So not only do I have a $3,600 masterpiece of construction, but I have 1 year parts, 3 years of free labor and lifetime phone support for the system. Since I plan on upgrading in two years, the labor warranty will be extended...

With helpful service and a great, stable computer, that's cool.

5) CONCLUSION:
As I said in the intro: "Aside from their impeccable build quality, it's the phone support and pleasant support I've received that makes me think 'I'm coming back in two years to order upgrades.' "

The PureXS runs like a dream; instead of spending hours figuring out what was wonky with my 5.1 Surround Sound I tried just calling AAC, and sure enough it resolved the issue. They're only available 9-6 EST, but I've had Kyle e-mail me back on a weekend. My friend Billy also ordered from him and received support via e-mail on the weekend until Kyle could call him on Monday (Billy ordered parts, not a whole PC).

I don't have any negative experiences here. These guys are serious about making good computers and keeping their customers. Money well spent. In two years I'm coming back for more.

"I have enjoyed my Liquid XS. The service and support from All American Computers has been excellent. They were able to help me with any problems I have had. They were also quick to resolve any problems that I had, not that I had any but one. This was a 3rd party problem and not related to thier building or finishing of the system's software or hardware."

"All American Computers is the best computer store I have ever purchase computers system from. There Liquid XS computer system has a unique perfectly design acrylic case, this is the most attractive things which leads to purchase their system.
Their telephone support service is excellent. Crews are very friendly, patient and helpful on the phone.
Computer system were packed very carefully to avoid major damage.
I am very pleased with this company and hope they will extend their business to New Zealand where I live now.

"Great Transaction! Excellent Shipping Prices and Time. Ordered a DFI Pro875 Motherboard and 1 GB GEIL PC4200 DDR Memory. Memory was not in stock but was on order so the General Manager himself called me to let me know that they called Geil and had the item drop-shipped directly to me from the manufacturer! I got second day shipping and both the product from the store and from the manufacturer arrived the same day (and on time which was nice due to GEIL being in California). There website is layed out well and easy to browse and look up your old orders! I think the site could have two improvements done to it.
1. better sorting (you can choose power search and sort your items by price, brand, description...etc..but sometimes I don't want to start over once I am searching and I think Tracking numbers should be an automatic thing through the site (AHEM...Part of the invoice maybe?)However as with the memory I sent an email and within the hour...the General Manager got back to me. a few features missing from the website is greatly compensated by one of the few companys left to show GREAT Customer Service. A++ to All American Computers. I will be doing business with you again SOON!

"All American introduced me to my first real "gaming" machine. All my previous computers we're just store bought.
So I laid down a chunk of money ($ 2,500 - w/o monitor!) for a gaming system that was constructed locally (I live just a few minutes away from Terre Haute, IN).

The fan on the video card failed a few months after the purchase of the machine, but All American quickly replaced it with one they had in stock. So no problems there.

The Motherboard of the computer began to get really flaky, so All American RMA'd it for me. 3 weeks later (due to Abit's RMA service) I got my computer back completely reformatted. They never told me their were going to format my hard drives and never offered to save the data. So I lost it all.

They have very friendly support, but I would highly recommend having them explain EXACTLY what they plan to do to your computer.

The pricing of their systems, services, and components are EXTREMELY high. I've purchased items (such as XP Professional OEM - single copies) $ 40+ cheaper from other respected online vendors. One of the perks of the high price is usaully the free installation (if you live locally) but if you're just ordering components online - Shop elsewhere.

I am glad I had my computer constructed by All American Computers though; If I hadn't, I might have never started building my own gaming systems.

"Great company with exceptional customer assistance. I pre-ordered the new ATI 9800 Pro. I was kept up to date on the status of my pre-order on a regular basis. ACC had my order shipped directly from the distibutor to allow me to recieve it sooner. Through no fault of ACC my Video Card arrived damaged. Going over and above the call of duty, ACC had a new card shipped while I was sending the damaged one back. The level of personal and curtious service of the ACC staff is something rare for an internet company. With competitive pricing, shipping and exceptional customer service, you can't go wrong with ACC."

"Simply one of the best hardware providers out there. I first found out about AAC at a LAN party, they had a display setup, and I was really looking to get a new computer. I was already expecting to have to set away a day or two to get my new AMD machine setup and running, as it was my first. To my surprise, they were willing to actually assemble the machine, on-site, within a half hour, and it was up and running AT the LAN party! I have since purchased a decent bit of hardware from AAC, whenever I need something, they're my first choice, because I know they're experienced, and only sell the best."
