"I ordered 4 pounds of alligator fillets and 10 of the frozen crawfish. At first I thought there might be a problem as my order showed preparing for about a week. Then everything showed up at my door! all of it still frozen, with some empty bags, (I can only assume were dry ice) and ice packs. we had a great feast right on time. I have ordered from allen's bayou several more times and so far, the only concern was the length of tijme for them to update thier site orders. Changing them from preparing to shipped, etc.
I highly recommend them, just make sure you have enough room to eat it all!"

"after not hearing from them I e-mailed on 12-16-07 to ask when was the order was shipped. The reply was it was being processed. Realizing it would not arrive by Christmas I e-mailed them on 12-17 to cancel the order, they replied it shipped on the 13th. the partial order arrived on the 24 and the packaged was marked as being shipped on the 22nd. only 2 of the 8 items were shipped and one of them was short by one pound. This was noted on the enclosed packing list. When contacted to cancel the remainder of the order and refund my card the said they didn't understand what happened as their shipping list showed all items shipped. As of 01-09-08 I have not heard from them."
