"I would not order again from Allied Lock and Safe DBA alliedlocksafe.com.. I ordered a MVL10 2.4 GHz wireless link from them at $119.99 and the order was accepted. The next day the order was canceled with the comment they were out of stock. When I placed the order there were 100 units in stock. I went back to the original web page and it still showed 99 units in stock but the price was now shown as $239.98.

I made a call to them asking why they were out of stock when they had 100 units the day before and they indicated that it had been discontinued and that the web site was not current. It is now a week later and the web page indicating a price of $239.98 is still up and still showing 99 units available. When I contacted them about this, they indicated that the discontinued units were now back in stock..

My personal opinion is they did not want to honor the advertised price for whatever reason and rather than say that, they used the excuse of it being out of stock and discontinued. I also was able to order the MVL-10 from another vendor for about the same price as the first price they listed and they knew nothing about it being discontinued when I talked to them.

To be honest, I cannot say for sure where the truth lies, but this has certainly left a bad taste in my mouth and I do not feel comfortable enough to order anything else from them in the future. If they were less than truthful in this case, they could very easily be less than truthful in the future. YMMV
