I will never shop at alloy again

"I had to return some I had to return some of the order (meaning I actually liked most of the pants I ordered). At first they gave me a merchandise credit because they said I didn't return it within the 30 day return window, then when I said that's false I have the tracking number showing you got it within the thirty days they changed the story saying the pants showed evidence of being worn. This place is scamming women unfortunately and I am doing my best to scream it from the roof top. All this for 38.99. It's the principle of it, and I loved their pants at one point in time. BE CAUTIOUS if you shop with them!"

"So last year I ordered some jeans. All fine and dandy. got them within a week and they were perfect. Im tall and most pants dont fit me so finding this site was like a breath of heaven. however, when school came aroudn i knew i was gonna need some school pants. So i ordered them before it got cool. IT HAS BEEN TWO MONTHS SINCE I ORDERED THEM AND THEY ARE STILL ON BACK ORDER!!!!! I ordered early september. when i went to check the status of my package, it said backordered and at the time i did not know what that meant so I called them and they explained it as there are no pants of my size and style that exist yet and that the warehouse is waiting for them to be produced. They told me the warehouse should have them by the week of September 29th. NOTHING! so i called mid October, and they told me that they should be in by that Friday NOTHING! So i just called them and they told me they would come in November 18th. I asked if there was any way to ensure that I would actually get them because it's been two months and its ridiculous. THEY SAID THERE'S NO GUARUNTEE!!!! I probably won't be getting my pants.... like EVER... Dont get into this hell hole they call a business"

"Terrible customer service. They were willing to lose a customer over a $5.95 shipping fee. I will never shop here again. I sent an item back to exchange and the larger size was no longer available. I thought the shipping fee should be waived due to the item not being available to exchange (in which case I would have paid the fee). They felt it was better to argue with me over the fee and refuse to waive it due to "company policy" not allowing it. They chose to lose myself as a customer as well as my friends over $5.95 which apparently will break the company if refunded. Ridiculous!! "

"7 Weeks to Receive Return Shipping Label

Right after Xmas I ordered two pairs of pants, received them 1/13/15 and one of the jeans had a hole in them (that was NOT supposed to be there). So I called THAT DAY and asked what I need to do to get an exchange... they said they would send me a return label (that would not cost me anything, as opposed to the one sent with the order) then I needed to send the pants back and wait 2-3 weeks for them to process sending me a new, unflawed pair of pants.

So I waited to receive this label that did not come. I had to repeatedly call... on 1/26/15, 2/5/15, Mid Feb sometime, and again today 3/3/15. Each time there was an excuse, they apologized and said it could be the proper form wasn't entered, or there was a glitch in the system, WHATEVER. At one point they even got a supervisor to make sure it got sent, but even they failed to do their job. By now they should have offered to just send me a replacement pair of pants, without needing the flawed pair back. That wouldn't have cost the company very much, and the damage they have caused with this terrible experience has lost them a frequent customer who has spent $100's of dollars with them.

So when I called today 3/3/15, this lady Teresa, said that the label did get shipped... yesterday. WTF! I mean does customer service get any worse!!?? It took you 7 WEEKS to get a label shipped to me.

Alloy, you need to get your sh*t together. I've read a lot of reviews on here about how terrible your customer service is, especially when it comes to shipping things in a timely fashion.

You've definitely lost any future business from me.

"Being a 5"8 woman has always proven difficult to find clothing (jeans, pants, dresses) with the desired length. Alloy not only has a large selection of extended length clothing but, it has a category designated TALL! Exchanges/returns are also easy and representatives are courteous. Furthermore, quality of clothing has proven to stand the test of time."

"Alloy did charge my credit card 3X's for the same purchase, or I should say they were pending charges. I finally got this issue resolved but it took 3 weeks to finally do so and receive my shipment. I was not pleased with this happening, of course, but loved some of the items I received. I have purchased several more times from them with no more credit card issues and thankfully didn't have to deal with their customer service again. They have a wide variety of items, shirts, pants, dresses, pumps, boots, and jewelry. My favorite part is that they carry PLUS SIZES up to a size 25 pants, and up to a 37" inseam for taller ladies and a 3X in shirts/jackets, along with a wider variety of regular sized items in XS,S,M,L, and XL. My only wish is that they carried more plus sizes and in everything not just certain items because they have tons of smaller cute items that I'd love to have but not my size. Their quality reflects the pricing, so if you buy a one of the more expensive items I find them to be a bit better quality than the cheaper items. Almost everything except for a few jackets/coats are under $50 which is nice on the pocket book including shoes. One more thing about pricing, they do charge anywhere from $2 to $5 more for the plus sizes in everything. I've purchased from them 5X's now and out of everything I'm at a 70%/30% Love ratio and that includes sizing, quality, and coloring a few items showed up in a different color than described. (ex: peach instead of taupe, when item was supposed to be taupe and peach wasn't a color choice). Their shipping takes awhile, approximately 2 weeks from start to finish. If you need to return anything they charge a flat fee of $5.95 for 1 item and $6.95 for 2 and up # items, and nothing for exchanges. So when I paid $15 for a peach shirt that was supposed to be taupe why return it for $5.95 when it's still cute."
