"I would be lost without Amazon. All the reviews make it easy to decide what to get. Ordering is simple. With Amazon Prime I get free two day shipping and overnight is only 3.99. Standard shipping is always free.
Amazon might not have the lowest price but when you factor shipping in they do 99% of the time.
If I don't like something I print a return label online and the credit back to my card is very fast. I never worry about buying from Amazon, if I don't like my purchase I always have an out.
If the price goes down over the next 30 days you can call and get a credit (on many things it does so keep an eye out!).
Even when I screw up (past 30 days on a camera lens) and was charged 15% restocking I called them and explained it was a personal issue and asked if they could do anything and I got the 15% back!
Amazon also offers products from competitors but I usually stick with "ships from Amazon" only because of their shipping costs and customer support. If it ships from Amazon you have no worries, if something is wrong they fix it, period.
We ship out 100-200 large book assortments for our company and the overnight shipping on heavy packages at 3.99 has saved us thousands in shipping.
How cool is it to pay 3.99 and have something you want online at your house the next day? If you don't like it print a label and send it right back, THEY pay for shipping!
Only time I shop elsewhere is if its a crazy deal and from another reputable company like Costco or NewEgg.

To all be advise that you have no Protection from Amazon or taking for grant that Amazon Seller are not Scam or 3rd rate companies---you will loss your money and time.
Amazon.com Inc is supporting Antonline commit fraud and many bad business policies at the expense in dollars and time of their customers, knowing that Antonline and other sellers just buys junk products cheap and in bulk and then sells them not-so -cheap as new release products and then tries the dodge its responsibility whenever anybody has an issue and cancel orders or ordered items without reason and NOT refunding the full shipping cost paid and has a no-return policy in real life, including sending out the wrong products to customers and over charging for shipping, plus on orders of a lot of products they will not ship all and charge you . Also Be advised that Amazon helps Antonline commit fraud by allowing this seller to be listed as a seller in Amazon and releasing order payments to Antonline knowing the seller did not ship the products ordered. May-be Amazon is part owner or/and have executive family ties with Antonline or/and does not care about their customers or/and is also a 3rd rate Internet Scam Company allow with their partner.
I only did business with this vendor because Amazon Payment was/are the payment processor, that authoress the releases of funds from my account for payment to Antonline, based on my ordered products being shipped, included partial payments as products are shipped. I notified Amazon two groups and Antonline many times since 12/1/08 not to make full payment and provided facts that showed all my ordered items could not have been ship and that Antonline would not state what products were within each shipment to me. Yet, AmazonPayment kept telling me my order was completed, (shipped), and gave me a total run-a-round, including releasing full order payment from my account to Antonline on 12/3/08. Needless to say I used words like you are ordered not to make full payment and you are helping this vendor commit FRAUD and other not so nice things.
Later this junk seller sent a E-Mail to me but now with product numbers for all products and a statement it is to late to cancel your order, of which at least one was related to an outdated product that does not support the newer windows operating systems. Plus than I get a bull of a E-Mail saying I returned one QS50 cable and they are issuing a credit, which was short of the shipping cost----what a lie, I never got the product in the first place.
Of the 3 shipments sent to me with a total weight of 6.4lbs, 2 (two) arrive as-of 12/07/08, which contain 4 items out of the 15 I ordered. One was a outdated Webcam that I paid $44.04 but for the newer version of that cam, not the outdated junk that does run on the newer windows operating systems. The product names for the Webcams are the same, with different product IDs and their is only the newer product listed on the manufacturer Website with the product name I ordered at a list price of $49.99 and sale price of $24.99. This was the reason that both Antonline and AmazonPayment only sent me order item names only product listing E-Mails of the order without the product numbers in their confirmation and shipped E-Mails transmissions. Plus I have requested the Packing slips for all shipments 6 times and Antonline had not provided. Antonline’s Website States: ( If you request a copy of your shipments packing slip by E-Mail, Antonline would send same to you. )
There is one more box coming, but the weight is 1.4 Lbs and this shipment can not have the remainder of my order which includes 3 QS-25 RG6 solid copper cables totaling 75 feet which would have a shipping weight greater than 10lbs, that I paid $40.14 for the 3 items, plus shipping cost.

False advertisement, rude customer service, does not honor advertisement, Amazon.com is now just another cheesball online retailer.
End result of many many hours dealing with this issue = I will refused delivery and dispute the return shipment charges.
A loyal customer for 10 yrs will never buy anything from Amazon again.
The time spent on the phone and researching policies for shipping/returns/etc. is in the hours -
I spent hours comparing online TV shopping - discovered blogs/stories of nightmares - broken TVs delivered with no manufacturer's warranty - gave up decided to wait till prices dropped and I would by at Magnolia.
Then found the Amazon price and white glove delivery - and spent hours reviewing

The ad for free white glove service ran for multiple days (Nov 26, 27, and 28) on the same Amazon.com webpage where you buy the TV. The ad stated "When you purchase this TV from Amazon.com, it receives our special white-glove delivery service - an then goes on to explain what the white glove service is. I would only buy a TV if it came from an authorized dealer (both 6Ave and Onecall are) and was delivered with white glove = delievry people unbox and test the TV before they leave. If it's broken, defective, or missing parts they take it back right then an there.
Nov 28 - placed the order - called Amazon Sales - they confirmed I would receive the white glove delivery and that my order would have the special holiday protection return policy (20 mins on the phone)

Dec 1 - received email confirming TV was shipped - estimated delivery date of Dec 4 - Dec 9 - no mention of white glove delivery in the shipment notice.
Received email confirming the TV bracket shippped - estimated delivery date of Dec 4 - Dec 9 - I would not have bought the bracket without buying the TV.

(45 mins) Amazon Customer Service - told me they don't offer free white glove delivery from 3rd party vendors and that white glove would cost an additional $125. Amazon told me to refuse the shipment and place another order
This was unaccpetable and I requested to speak with a supervisor - I explained Amazon advertized Free White glove delivery and I had proof with a print out of the webpage at the time of purchase. I requested I be forwarded to the Amazon customer service department specializing Plasma TVs - instead the Amazon customer service rep forwarded me to 6Ave without telling me.
Jessica Vellasco of 6Ave customer service instructed me to fax the page to 6Ave customer service at: ***-***-****, order number L83824 and that someone would call me after they receive the fax. I did, and she said they don't offer the white glove service for orders coming from Amazon. Fair enough, but I'm not talking with the right person. The mistake was not 6ave's it was Amazon's for advertising the white glove servie. It is Amazon that made the mistake and should honor the white glove service. Amazon should contact 6Ave and arrange for my TV to be delivered with white glove service - something Amazon offers for a $125 charge nationwide.
More Amazon customer service calls - another 45 mins - escallated finally (it took many repeated and heated requests to be forwarded to a manager - Amit K - refused to give last name - Amit reafirmed that I would not receive the white glove delivery, but maybe you qualify for the Amazon A-Z guarantee… but check, as not all vendors qualify.

"I'll make this a short and sweet review for Amazon. I love this company. I have ordered tons and tons of stuff from them over the years from books, cds, dvds and even clothes. and have always been totally happy with the entire process and products.
they pioneered so much of the way most online stores work and it shows in their site's easy to use......everything. the search part works really good. I use the wishlists and 'save for later' features all the time and I know they aren't unique to amazon now but of all the online shops I buy from, I never really use those features except when on Amazon. so they must be doing something right.
The ordering process is clean and straight forward and as easy as it could get I think. I have never had to return anything, but heard that it is really easy to do with their RMA system.
I could go on and on but won't. My final verdict with them is 2 thumbs up all the way. Also always be sure to check out their vast deals and free shipping offers.
This holiday I bet like 80% of my shopping will be through them because they just have SO much stuff in every category imaginable. I, and apparently others, were tricked on this sale! The order was cancelled for no apparent reason! Apparently integrity means nothing anymore. I second the comments from another user regarding "Bait and Switch" as they were taken by this offer as well. I have definately lowered my trust in amazon.com, and will look to other "reliable" sources that have integrity and back their claims! It's not the end of the world, but I am definately upset that I was tricked by amazon.com's sales tactics!
