the BEST!!!

"ever since signing up for free trial ,i found out about a world of different reasons to be a member.prices are great usually have what your looking for .shipping is unbelievable only once they had problem but rectified it in a day.above all prime tv is a gem as is the music.what more could U ask for for 9.99$ a month?"

Once Was A Great Deal

"I've been a Prime member for several years; however over past year I've noticed changes & ALL bad too!! Approx. one out of every three orders there has been an issue with defects, order tracking, etc. In addition, over the past year it has taken at least 3-4 phone calls to "customer service" just to get issues resolved. Nothing like having to call 3-4 times to finally reach a an Amazon rep who understands the English language. Also, over the past year their "customer service" reps have become extremely rude interrupting me repeatedly during phone conversations. I even had one supervisor named Brant who informed me, "Amazon was not going to pay me to shop with them..." (after that supervisor's act of stupidity I called Amazon corporate & spoke with a rep named David who was awesome, BUT that was after TWO weeks of phone calls to Amazon..a new low/record on my personal experience with them) and as for Amazon packaging: Over the past year 95% of my Prime purchases have been shipped using CHEAP white plastic bags with a thin lined bubble wrap, which offer no shipping protection !! In addition, it used to be "exclusives" for Prime members meant the best pricing, but not anymore. The one star is earned via on time 2 day shipping/music & video streaming. I keep my Prime membership for only two reasons: streaming video & music. Amazon, you do not have to pay me to shop with you: 95% of my purchases are now made through newegg.com & walmart.com BOTH providing me fast processing/shipping, excellent packaging (boxes with plenty of airbags, so as to protect my purchases & polite ENGLISH speaking customer service reps. I pulled ALL my product reviews off Amazon & have posted them on newegg where my business is appreciated !!! And now...Amazon will be raising my Prime membership an additional $19.99---for what?? If I get POOR customer service, POOR packaging, & issues with almost 1 out of every three Prime orders I place I couldn't care less about the "one" day Prime shipping that may come with the price increase. Here is a simple equation for you Mr. Bezos: Poor customer service + POOR packaging + a Prime rate increase = 95% loss of my business. FYI Amazon thanks for the Rosewill computer case @ $19.99 it arrived with one broken front cover mounting pin , which only could of happened with that front cover being taken off & put back on incorrectly BEFORE I purchased it. That plastic pin was lying in the case rattling/rolling around for me to discover. NOT worth 4 or more phone calls to get it resolved.

UPDATE: 11/12/18- I attempted to post an Amazon review on this pc case; however Amazon rejected the first one over violating "their" policies. If you post anything factual/negative about their packaging/customer service your review will be rejected. I have made another attempt (watered down) at posting an Amazon review and although I have not gotten the procedural rejection e-mail it has not posted as of today. A local news channel recently exposed Amazon over "rigging" their reviews, so I'd strongly advise before making an Amazon purchase to compare their reviews to walmart.com and or newegg.com, if applicable. IF Amazon posts my extremely short low rating review on the Rosewill pc case I shall modify this post.

Many interactions and always positive

"I make a dozen orders a month. Very rarely there's a problem...but when there is an issue the amazon reps (in contrast to Walmart, sprint, etc.) Speak English clearly. Are unfailingly polite. Are empowered to fix issues immediately. Always provide a fair and satisfactory resolution. All customer service should be like this!"

Prime 2 Day delivery is unreliable

"On the surface it sounds great: Free 2 Day delivery on all Prime orders, however in practice, the unreliability of the delivery service make you question the overall value. Think you'll want something for the weekend and order it on a Wednesday, the tracking will show that they shipped it on Friday to be delivered on Saturday, which on Saturday the package shows still on the way, then undeliverable on Saturday and Sunday, then finally arrives on Monday.

Or try this: order two items one arrives via USPS no problem then later in the day UPS, or AMZL US (their private carrier) will say that the business was closed while you are sitting at the address waiting for the package to arrive. No truck or driver ever pulling into your lot.

Charged me for membership to prom 2x and I did not request it.

"I used to order from Amazon but then they went in my bank account and charged me for prime 2x. I did not request Prime. Now its taking over a week (as a rep promised I would have within 3-5 days}. They did the same to me in April. I am so **** w/ this company. Now I have to give them another 2 days to figure it out. I have even talked to a supervisor and they promised I would have my money back by now! Guess What I Don't! I have removed all my payment options. This is bull ****. I am on disability and don't have alot of money for extras. Watch you accounts!"

THEY GOT IT

"Amazon prime. Unless you've been living under a rock, you've at least heard of Amazon. This is monster of all online stores, and PRIME, makes it even better.
My wife and I average a dozen purchases on Amazon per month. Why go out in trafic to shop, when you can do it from the comfort of your own home? There are very few things you can't find on Amazon. And with all the filters they offer, you can do so much.
Wanna always buy American? They got you covered. Want something gift wrapped, no problem, do you need the item asap? They got ya there too.
And about PRIME, no more shipping charges

Disappointing

"I signed up for the free trial, but then decided to cancel and was still billed twice. When I called to get things fixed, the person i talked to told me that i was charged to see if my credit card really worked, but that I would be reinbursed. They sent me an email confirmation of my cancellation. One month later, I have been billed again and now have to call again. This is feeling more like a scam than a decent company. I am very disappointed because I buy things on amazin regularly."

Room for improvement

"Always satisfied with Amazon services, boughts tons of producs there but the Amazon Prime services are somewhat a disappointement. Sometimes products are not delivered on time and most of all Amazon Videos catalogue is not I was expecting. Compared to Netflix there is not much to watch when it comes to new series. I might actually resign in the future."
