"After placing an order for flooring on their website, confirming the delivery with Ambient over the phone, and arranging a time with my contractor, Ambient cancelled the order saying the website had the wrong amount for shipping and that it would be several hundred dollars more to ship the way I ordered on their website. While this is in accordance with the Sale Policy, it has thrown a huge wrench in my renovation timeline. Ambient should fix their website instead of cancelling the order."

“Jylo, thank you so much for your valuable feedback and letting us know about this issue! Unfortunately, our website was experiencing technical issues at the exact time you placed your order, which resulted in excessively low small parcel overnight rates being displayed. Arrg! We're so sorry! I do see that we called you within a few hours after the order was placed to notify you that your order had not been processed and that your credit card charge was never charged, and we provided you with several credits on your subsequent order to try to make up for the error. We know these things don't help in regards to your installation timeline but hope they softened the blow a little. The website glitch was the result of a third party vendor who's software had failed, which was quickly corrected. We truly apologize for the inconvenience and resulting delays in your installation timeline!”
