"I made a payment to Amerimark by phone with a debit card.
I had deposited a total of almost $1000 in that card from Dec. 2018 to January 2019.
I have paper statements proving this.
The money was there but Amerimark said my card was declined.
There was no reason for it to be declined when the money was in the card.
First Amerimark said yes they received the payment then they said it was declined (2 days later) then they said they never declined it that it was never paid. Confusion.
I have a statement from the debit card proving the money was there.
Debit card folks later said it was declined because I used the wrong pin, but you don't use a Debit card PIN to make a payment by phone.
The other debtors I paid with the same card received their money (I hope) ,why did not Amerimark?
There's only 2 options either Amerimark stole my payment or debit card employee card did.
I'm still investigating and researching making phone calls trying to deal with these people and it's frustrating and maddening.
I will never use the debit card again nor do any business with Amerimark.
Sadly, everyone I talk to has such a foreign accent it's hard to communicate.

I wanted additional colors, so, after reading the descriptions carefully, including the measurements, I decided to order the Ashley because they appeared identical. I emailed customer service to try and ascertain if they were different. No reply. I orderd the Ashley in 5 colors based on the written description being identical to Adina. Three pair of the Ashley boots came today. They will not zip up my calf. Unfortunately, I have 2 more pair on order and have closed the bank account from which the payment was debited. Therefore, I have 5 pairs of boots I will not be able to use. Very, very disappointed that the description of the Ashley boots was SO inaccurate. I will be sharing this experience on my Facebook page and with my non Facebook friends as well."

"I ordered a 2 piece dress in size 2X. When it arrived I tried on the top and it was too large. Did not try on skirt so never looked at the size. I returned merchandise and reordered a 1X set. The company returned the first set to me saying that I had not returned all of the merchandise with a note that the top was 2X and the skirt was 1X. This was their error in the first place, and I must now contact them to try to explain their error before I return this again. I would almost expect them to again return this to me in an attempt to make a "sale". What a game. I will not order from them or any of their affiliates again. This was ordered from Anthony Richards, an AmeriMark affiliate. Check who you are ordering from - they are probably a subsidiary of AmeriMark. I understand from their carelessness that they only have a one star rating. It would probably be a zero star if that was available."
"This was my first order with AmeriMark and it will be my last. I was ordering some items and having them shipped to my 94 yr old mom. Right after placing the order I noticed that I had ordered (2) perfumes instead of one. I immediately called customer service. I was told that the order was not in process yet and that I would need to call back in a couple hours and they would be happy to cancel it for me and credit my card back for the item. I waited a couple hours and called back and then was told that it was too late that it was in process. They said to just refuse it and when returned I would get the credit. Well, it is being sent to my 94 yr old mom for her birthday and I told them that I would never ask her to take part of her gift and return one item. They would not explain why I was told to wait and call back. I work in customer service and know that they could have compensated in some way but nothing was offered except having her return the item. It would have been one thing if I was told up front that it was to complicated to get an item canceled once the order is placed. It shouldn't have been that difficult. I order lots of items for my mom through catalogs but will not be using them again."
"BEWARE of this company! When ordering you will see a pop up to save 10% if you click on it and put your name and email in, you are then signed up for a membership! They will charge your credit card $14.95 a month regardless of if you order or not! "
"Okay I will say that I never had too much trouble with this place when I ordered a few times before, until they offered me their pre-approved "easy" pay credit. I will describe it as so-so service in the past. But this experience has been so horrible it wiped out all good feelings toward this company forever. So anyway, I went to their website to place my order. Most places where I have been given credit, you just go and enter in your order and an option to pay with credit pops up and your done. Not so here. What a nightmare. I already had picked out 6 items and had my order ready to go, but there was no easy pay credit button option in the checkout, even after entering the only number shown on the back of my catalog. So I spent probably 20-30 minutes searching all over the website about their credit, so I could use it, but there I NOTHING about their credit anywhere. So I had to call. I explained to the girl all I had went through and she said I had to place my first easy pay order by phone. To which I replied that I had already input my order online, and could l get the free shipping offered on my online order? To which she said no. That, to me, was ridiculous. Why don't they tell you any of this in the catalog? After that much hassle the least they could do is give me the free shipping. I was upset and said how disappointing it was, but decided to call back a few minutes later as I really wanted these items that were on sale for a good price. Well the second person I called said I could go ahead and place my order online after she activated my account and thus get the free shipping, so after she activated it, sure enough there was now an easy pay button option that appeared, so I sent the order through and ended the call happy, BUT NO SOONER did I hang up, than the order said there was something wrong with the payment. So I went back to that page of my order, and lo and behold the easy pay button that had appeared had disappeared!!! Unfreakingbelievable! So I had to call again, and explain the whole long story again. This person said I would have to pay by phone, but they should definitely be able to give me free shipping anyway, but she had to transfer me to someone else to explain the whole stupid thing yet AGAIN--the fourth time!!! All this and they have Asian accents you can barely understand, and you have to ask them to repeat things and they act like it is too much trouble for them. The fourth person assured me that she could place the order with free shipping manually input into the order. Great. By this time 3 of the 6 items were on backorder when they were ALL still available when I first started!!! Between customer service agent 3 and 4, two items jumped from being backordered 20 days to being backordered for two months!!!! Oh well, I guess I could wear them next winter, right? Then she tries to sell me more stuff for 15% off and I said no. The she tried to sell me their membership thing, and I said no, and she kept pushing and I said no I don't want it like three times before she quit. So I thought it was FINALLY SETTLED, and the call was ended. Then guess what, I got an email confirmation and my order didn't show free shipping I had been promised and the backordered items showed quantity of one, but the price of two. So I sent customer service an email explaining a lot of this horrendous "service" for the fifth time. Through all of this I was reasonable and didn't curse though I felt like it, but none of these people seemed to give a real crap, just do the bare minimum and not really concerned for what I was put through. I am still awaiting their reply, as you may guess I can hardly wait... NOT!!!"

"Received products without issue and liked the products. Due to an unforseen accident that involved the death of the driver I was accompanying I was a month and a half behind on my first bill. It was 40.00 past due of a 98.00 total bill. Received a letter in the mail stating...."Frankly, we do not understand why you haven't paid your bill. We honestly believe it is in your best interest to settle this matter once and for all." Are you kidding me? Threatening, demeaning, and a terrible response from a company. "Man called to say Amerimark was sending me 5 coupons worth $10 apiece off any $35 order. In between a rapid spiel about the company's
various offerings (dentures, walkers, etc.) obviously aimed at the elderly, he mumbled something about only charging me $3.99 a month. I told him I didn't want his coupons and would not deal with his company again. I don't know if they planned to access my checking account or my credit card but I hope no one falls for their scam."

"Very unhappy with customer service. I ordered 2 dresses for a wedding in November 2014 and the wedding was cancelled. I shipped the items back on my dime and CS refused my package due to the fact that the 30 day return had expired. Blair, Chadwicks, Coldwater, LLBean will take the merchandise back and give store credit. Guess what?
It seems returns and refunds are up to the discretion of the folks in returns and not any supervisor or manager. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Both dresses still have tags and were never worn. All over their website they discuss customer satisfaction...false advertising. "
"I ordered a robe from Amerimark and tho I haven't received it yet, I've already made up my mind that this is a company I do NOT want to do business with any more-once is enuff. They've been filling my email box with offers for ugly, low quality items that I wouldn't buy if they cost a penny each! If they dare call me about "healthcare", they aren't going to like what they hear! And when you do place an order, you're immediately flooded with spam from other connected companies. Do yourselves a favor, do NOT order from these people!
I just got off the phone with the bank, I canceled my debit card and ordered another one. Let them try to get extra $$ now! I called their customer disservice center, was told the medical program was offered ONLY if you make your order by phone, but have read many reviews of people who ordered on line getting hit too, so obviously their CSRs are lying to us. DO NOT BUY FROM aMERIMARK!"
