You can't advertise a "new" product, then remove it from the box and ship just a part of it! The website made no mention that it was an open box, made no mention of it not having all the parts required to work, and made no mention that there was an extra "retail kit" you have to buy with it to make it work. Terrible false advertising.
In addition, the guy who made his website and "know[s] what it says" was extremely condescending and rude.
I know not to do business with such an unethical company, and you shouldn't either."

"This company has unprofessional business practices. I was searching for an HDTV on Google shopping and americacameras.com was offering the best price. I happily placed the order only to be contacted 4-5 days later about it stating that I placed the order for international model and they wanted to make sure and if I wanted the US model as the price will be more. I had seen reviews about such practice by the company but I thought it was isolated episode but it appears they are using these unethical tactics to lure customers at bigger platform like google and I wonder how many just opt to buying from them at the end. "BAIT AND SWITCH. Ordered a Samsung UN55H8000. Received an email 36 hrs later to call them to expedite the order. When I called, I was told that the model ordered was "commercial" and not retail and did not even come with a stand or any other retail accessories. All this would be extra if I wanted it. Will try and find the relevant State Attorney Generals office to make a complaint."
"Ordered a Canon T3 for a very good price. After the order was submitted I got an e-mail to call customer service. They told me the order was for the "international" model that didn't include the battery or charger. The website clearly said battery included. They tried to talk me into buying for a higher price. When I refused and cancelled my order they hung up on me. I called back to be sure my order was cancelled and they hung up on me again."
