"I placed an order online on 9/06/16. I received email confirmation and my cc was charged. It is now 9/20/16 and I have not received my order. I have been calling and emailing several times a day for since 9/10/16 asking for an updated. I have NEVER been able to get someone to answer or return my numerous voicemail and email requests. I am not sure what to do from here...VERY FRUSTRATING

"I had read a lot of negative reviews of this company but when I decided to try it for myself , I experienced a similar problem. I would call the company and no one would pick up. I immediately called my credit card company to report it and my bank said its billed out of Nevada which has a 3 hour time difference. I was so embaressed and felt awful after leaving a negative voicemail. I called back at the opening time and Customer service was very helpful and I recieved my product before the estimated delivery day!!!! Everyone is upset and saying tey cant get through to customer service. The problem is at 9:00 am east it is only 6:00 in nevada. Call at 12:40 east pm"
"Absolutely terrible.
I placed an order for a swimsuit from them over a month ahead of time for an upcoming trip.
I ordered it on September 15th and in the email confirmation it specifically states, "After your order is processed, in stock items are normally shipped within 1-7 business days. Back ordered items can take up to 2 weeks for delivery. Most back ordered items will ship much quicker, and a customer service representative will contact you if there is a prolonged delay."
I hear nothing after a week and expect that they are shipping my item - otherwise they would have contacted me.
On October 2nd, I get a credit card fraud alert from my credit card company (unrelated, someone else stole my card info) and they had to cancel my credit card - the same card I placed the order... Why would I think that it would affect the order when they specifically say that they would ship it within 1-7 business days and would otherwise contact me.
It turns out, they didn't ship my order and did not contact me. So when they finally go to ship my order and charge my (now closed) credit card, it fails -- and instead of contacting me at that point - they just... do nothing.
In the mean time, I email them asking where my package is, completely oblivious to their incompetence.
I did not receive a reply to my email. So on October 6 (a Tuesday), I call them.
It is at this time that I am told my credit card failed. I tell them how I am in a hurry for this item and their representative says, "My warehouse is not open today but they can get this out to you Thursday."
October 13th, I call them to make sure my item has shipped. The line is busy. I try this three other times throughout the morning and it stays busy. Finally I am able to get through in the afternoon - and the same person I spoke with on October 6th says that they didn't have the item in stock and so it hasn't shipped!!!! And he says, "Oh no, I never said it would ship last Thursday, I probably meant to say it would ship THIS Thursday."
WHAT?
No... to mean "next Thursday" you have to say the word "next" before "Thursday". Otherwise, unless its already Thursday, like when you say "Thursday" on a Tuesday, it implies THIS THURSDAY!
He is unhelpful. I tell him to cancel my order. I go to find the same swimsuit on amazon.com for $20 cheaper, oh, and it comes with free prime 2-day shipping.
This has to be the most frustrating experience I have ever had with an online retailer - and trust me, I shop online A LOT.
tl;dr: Stay far far away from Americanlifeguard.net. They are incompetent fools.
