I ordered “microclover” from these guys; it sprouted like crazy but then we noticed, “this isn’t clover.” We sent photos to American Meadows of what came up in our carefully prepared soil and they verified that what we got was “Weeping Charlie.” Absolutely no clover came up, but a carpet of Weeping Charlie, which had never been in evidence in our yard! They grudgingly refunded our money (well, thank you), “as a courtesy,” full of ridiculous excuses, insisting that they had sent the correct seeds. What an arrogant and incompetent bunch they are!"

An absolute joke… They are selling plants that they do not even have, and they don’t tell you until after you’ve paid and that’s only if you do the research to find out why your flowers haven’t arrived is that they won’t send you the flowers or plants until a quarter of a year later because that’s how long it takes for them to find the plants or to grow them from seed once you’ve purchased them.So basically, they are selling you an idea and not an actual plant. According to them, planting perennial flowers in mid October is the proper time to plant flowers in my zone 8A of North Texas which is complete nonsense. Right now is about as late in the year as you want to plant perennials in my zone, but they are claiming that they know more than I do (i’m a botanist and biologist), and that they say that the proper time to plant these is right before it gets cold in the mid October. These people do not understand seasons, they do not understand how seasons affect the light intensity that is required for a plant to mature properly. These people simply have no idea what they are talking about, and they are selling ideas and not actual plants because the plants you are purchasing from them, they do not even have them in their possession yet. Avoid these idiots!"
