Purchased phone online, 5 weeks later still not shipped.

I purchased a phone on the 7th December. Item was listed on the online store with no mention of stack or availability. By the 3rd of January still no shipping information. Called 3 times over the course of the 5 weeks and was on hold for over an hour each time. Order was stuck on "processing" status and when I queried when it would be available I was told they did not know. Unacceptable for an online item to be listed when supply is a known issue and not updated on the website. I was told there was a "global shortage" of the phone in question yet when I finally ordered direct from Apple it arrived in 2 business days. I have cancelled my order and requested a refund which has still not been processed over 10 business days later.
I was offered compensation by the first staff member I spoke to but this has since been ignored. Terribly run online business do not recommend."
"Android Enjoyed is the most complained about reseller - https://www.crn.com.au/news/android-enjoyed-is-most-complained-about-reseller-440841 . If only I read this before I bought my Sony Xperia through them! The few dollars I saved are not worth the hassle I have now. My phone broke (software that I couldn't fix) in May this year, after 9 months of use. I have logged a call with Android Enjoyed (AE) but received no feedback what-so-ever. I got fed up and posted a negative review on this page. Soon after I have been contacted by AE staff who facilitated the return of the phone to their HK office. That seemed helpful although not sure what's the use of their web based return facility. After about a month or so I finally received my phone back from HK. I was so excited just to find out that the original issue, where the control buttons on the screen didn't respond to touch (nothing wrong with the actual screen) was actually fixed, but another issue introduced. I was unable to make a phone call as the screen would automatically turn off, so a major issue for a phone! So here we go again, providing a proof, photos, videos, explanation, sending the phone again, paying for postage, waiting for weeks... mega frustration. So I was promised a refund for postage since this issue was introduced by AE and their incompetent staff. So another couple of months have passed and my phone has made its way to me. Excitement.. short lived I open the box and the phone has come back with the same issue, looking more and more grubby with the glue sipping from the sides of the screen. By this time I have had enough of it. I did not want ANYTHING to do with Android Enjoyed. So I requested a refund, which I was told I will get. I was asked to fill the paper work, send pics, videos, god knows what else again. Posted the phone again. Was assured I will get a refund for the postage too, for all 3 times I’ve had to send the phone to AE. So waiting and waiting to hear about the confirmation of the refund for the phone and the postage X3. Finally email arrived .. saying the phone is on it's way back! This is NOT what has been promised to me! I have replied to Winny who was dealing with me and she told me that I don't qualify for a refund because the issue was dealt with in a timely manner - from end of May to end of October.. hmmm 5 MONTHS! The next excuse was that my issue was minor! I would not classify being unable to make phone calls as a minor issue. The next excuse was that my phone was now out of warranty!! well it was because AE took 5 months to get it back to me. And another stroke - they will now not refund my postage also because they were able to repair the issue that they have introduced! Well done, pat on the back! And now I have been waiting for a senior manager to call me.. it's been 3 weeks or so. I guess they are busy dealing with all the complaints.. must be thousands of them.. so busy.
Anyway I'm done with this horrible money grabbing company and I recommend you stay away too!

"Phone failed, been trying for weeks to get an RMA. Issues I've experienced:
- their phone system hangs up on you after waiting 15 mins on hold
- phone message tells you to call during work hours when you have called during work hours, then hangs up on you
- nobody responds to your emails
- when you finally get through, they ask for information you have already provided. Obviously nobody checks your correspondance.
- Finally after multiple calls, they agreed to repair my phone, so they send me an RMA email with no address where to send the product. Now it's going to be another huge mission to get in contact with someone just to get an address.
- This company is not interested in support, sales is their only interest. It is not worth the stress, pay more for a reputable seller.
Wondering if I will ever get my phone back once I send it in."
" I ordered an Xperia XZ.
Prices were cheapest of all businesses.
An employee on Live Chat confirmed they had the product in stock in their warehouse.
The website stated the product would leave their warehouse in 3 to 7 days.
11 days later I contacted the company via email to ascertain the status of the order and, the next day i received an email stating they had cancelled my order, despite the order number being different.
I contacted the business by telephone and waited for 2 hours and 20 minutes to speak with an employee.
They advised me that the product was not in their warehouse, there had been a duplicate order which is the order that was cancelled (despite no confirmation email of that order) and, the product would not be in to their warehouse for another two weeks.
They informed me i could wait the two weeks (i.e. 35+ days since ordering) for the product to be received in their warehouse, order a different product or, cancel my order. They informed me that if i cancelled my order it would take them 20 days to process the refund of my money on to my credit card.
Their processes stated on their website state they will check stock availability in their warehouse and secure products before processing payment and, they would contact me if there were any difficulties. This was obviously not the case.
The NSW Fair Trading has issued a Scam Alert with regards to this company.
Purchase from this company at your own risk. "
"If I could give zero I would. I paid for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 in August. It was delivered with a crack in the screen and consequently did not work. It took almost a week to contact them by phone and until late September to get the correct address for return of goods for "inspection". It is now December and I still do not have a refund nor can I get a relevant response from the company. The most recent response to me was to provide an email address to contact if I wished to lodge a complaint. Despite everything done to make buyers think otherwise this is clearly not an Australian company."
"Android Enjoyed has ripped me off, given me appalling service and treated me with astonishing arrogance.
I purchased a faulty product, but Android Enjoyed has refused to give me a refund. I’ve also been given the run-around and forced to deal with a range of different staff, even though my problem is actually easy to solve.
Let me explain what happened.
I purchased a Lenovo smartphone from Android Enjoyed. Unfortunately, from day one, the mobile internet connection failed to work properly.
Please note the problem was not that the mobile internet connection NEVER worked properly - it was that it OFTEN failed to work properly.
Here are some relevant facts:
-My mobile internet connection failed to work many times. That proves it wasn't just a one-time problem.
-My mobile internet connection failed to work in many locations. That proves it wasn't a one-location problem.
-My mobile internet connection failed to work when I swapped SIMs with other people. That proves it wasn't the fault of my phone services provider.
Here's another important fact: a new phone that I was forced to purchase has worked PERFECTLY - even though I've used it in the same locations and with the same SIM where my Android Enjoyed phone frequently failed.
I explained all this to Android Enjoyed.
Android Enjoyed told me to return the phone for testing. After a needless delay of several weeks, Android Enjoyed told me it had been able to get the mobile internet connection to work, and therefore the phone was in perfect condition, and therefore it would not give me a refund.
I reminded Android Enjoyed that I had also been able to get the mobile internet connection to work – the problem wasn’t that it NEVER failed to work, the problem was that it OFTEN failed to work.
However, Android Enjoyed refused to budge – its position was that getting the phone to work once somehow proved that it worked 100% of the time.
Android Enjoyed has effectively stolen money from me – I gave the company money but got an obviously faulty product in return. What is that if not theft?
I reported all this to the consumer ombudsman (Fair Trading NSW). The ombudsman contacted Android Enjoyed to discuss my complaint – but Android Enjoyed never replied. That typifies the arrogance of this company.
The ombudsman told me that my next option is to take the matter to a small claims court (NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal). I’m still weighing up whether to do so. But one thing is clear: I will never give any more business to this appalling company."
