"It appears to be a new site owner. Ordered several pre-releases and everything came on time and was new."
"I ordered their
Cardcaptor Sakura DVD Box Set
#1-70 (TV) "Perfect Collection"
And several of the episodes will not play!!
3 episodes from the first disk, 4 from the second disk and 4 from the third disk, total 11 episodes, will all not play! Not to mention several episodes before and after these episodes that constantly skip! And I have tried playing these DVDs in several different DVD players just in-case but the episodes still will not play.
The fact is I paid for the COMPLETE Card Captor Sakura series ALL 70 episodes and that's not what I got.
Also I'm positive these were bootleg DVDs but even in that case the quality is the worst. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!"
"Caveat Emptor should be the warning for this site or "buyer beware". You will get what you asked for in the loosest sense of the word, but you will not get what it is you expected.
They claim that they don't sell bootlegs or DVD-rs and this is partially right. You are getting a bootleg or at the very least a grey-market version of the DVD. These are Chinese or Taiwanese imports but they're not the legitimate articles.
I never suggest supporting bootleggers even if the price is very attractive. However if this is the only place you can get the DVDs you're looking for, maybe it's worth it. However if you can buy the legitimate DVDs elsewhere then support the actual manufacturers and the studio."
"Despite what the last rater said anime DVD supply is almost exclusively Bootleg copy's the tale tell sign is the dvd region code reads any region i received a DVD and they put 9 episodes on one DVD which is another sign of a boot leg, poor picture quality etc. etc. customer service is non existent, if you buy from them there is no returning it period.
support the official release at rightstuf.com they have weekly sales a bargain bin a grab bag just far better experience, its definitely worth getting the real DVD there is a marked difference in video and audio quality
do not order from this place unless you like poor quality dvds."
"Anime DVD Supply is a great place to buy your favorite anime titles at bargain prices. I stumbled upon this website while looking for good anime dvd prices on google. I was a little skeptical at first because the prices for the complete series are so low, usually 50%-70% less then the boxed sets that come with 8+ dvd's and each dvd coming with only 4-5 episodes. The reason the DVD's sold by animedvdsupply.com are so low priced is because they offer the TV series dvd's which are the exact same episodes sold for double or three times the price but without all the extra features you wouldnt normally use like Spanish, French, Italian, and Russian Audio. Instead the DVD's only come with English/Japanese Audio and English/Japanese subtitles. I would say that it is really worth it to save so much money over the regular boxed sets. The boxed sets they sell usually come in the form of the complete collection in 3-5 DVD's for 15-26 episodes series, sometimes more dvd's depending on how many episodes the series has but they save money by cutting all the extra languages out, widescreen, 5.1 audio, and the extra pretty box. Good value if you just want to collect as many anime's on dvd as you can without spending thousands of dollars.
The DVD's are legit, sealed in shrink wrap (not copied bootlegs), and come in slim cases with art inside but the episodes are condensed into far less dvd's. The shipping is free on orders of $20+ but the selection of titles is somewhat limited. They also offer a free bonus dvd with a purchase of $100+."
