"Well, took this out of the box, hooked it up and instant HD TV. Well of course I had to do a channel scan, but still pretty darn quick. The product was very easy to install and is very unobtrusive. When mounted to the back of the TV stand, with the supplied double sided tape, I get every local channel in my area. That mounting location is nice because I get almost every channel I need and it keeps everything hidden but there is one station (44 miles away) that can get a little spotty at times. Moving the antenna to a nearby window clears up the signal. You will need to try different places/positions in order to maximize your reception. I cannot speculate on the reception in cities with large buildings or areas with hills or mountains"

"Awesome antenna. First had a flat panel from big lots that was pretty good, than got a GE 60 mile antenna which I thought was great. Got 44 channels but had to adjust sometimes. With this antenna I got 101 channels and only a few channels have digital break up and you don't have to move it. Live in DC suburb and get all the DC and Baltimore stations. Supplied cable would not screw onto the amplifier so I used one I already had.. It's such a cheap price I'm going to just keep it instead of sending it back for another one. Stop endlessly searching and buy this one. Worked great for me."
"best money I ever spent was on this antenna. I pick up about 50 stations, all the local broadcasts plus several stations that I enjoy. Decades, Me TV, Escape, Ion, Heroes and Icons, plus a few more. Between this antenna and Amazon's firestick, I don't miss having cable at all. I also ditched my home phone service and I am using a Magicjack Go now. Since I only require internet service now my bill went down is month. I wish I would have made the switch years ago."

Purchased the Lava HD8008 omnidirectional antenna in January. We did not get around to hooking it up until August or September. We found that the R6 cable in the Pro pack was causing distortion. We purchased a new cable locally and that issue that resolved. However, the antenna was not picking up a couple of stations 23 miles away. So not knowing if this was an issue with the antenna or our location, we went to Lowes and got an old school style
directional antenna and tried that. It worked great so we kept that one. I tried to call Antennadeals.com to ask about a potential refund or exchange but never reached a person. I left several messages but never got a call back. Then I found a form online to submit a request for a return so I filled it out. My thought was that if there was no refund, the request would be denied and I was okay with that. Instead, I received an email a couple of days later authorizing the return with instructions. I returned the antenna and the additional Pro pack at my expense. I waited to hear back from the company. After the package had been back with them for a week, I tried to call to get a status but again, no person, no return of my mesage. After emailing, I was told there was no refund since it was more than 60 days since purchase and they were not responsible for their own system that authorized the return since it was an automated system and could not read the date of purchase that the system requires one to input. The person I was emailing with got quite rude, in my opinion. I called Lava asking if they could help resolve the issue and then I received an email from the owner of Antennadeals.com asking for all the details of my purchase again. They ended up giving me another RMA to return the antenna and I had to explain that they had my antenna. After a lot of back and forth, I was told if I wanted the antenna back I would have to pay for shipping. Which I did. However, I only got back the antenna. They did not return the Pro pack. I don't even think this is my antenna I received either. Then I was contacted by another person at the company who clearly got me mixed up with another unhappy customer who had left bad reviews on 3 different sites. This person agreed to a full refund if I would update those reviews to a 3 star rating. I had to tell her several times those are not my reviews. I think she finally understands she has me mixed up with this other person since I've not heard back about my refund. At this point, I am out $154 with the purchase of the antenna and Pro pack, the cost to return as per their RMA and the cost to have it shipped back. And I think I'd rather be out this money and leave an honest account of my experience than to get a refund and leave a favorable review. Something is clearly not right here. Have you noticed how every review on their website is stelar? I wish I'd done a simple Google search before purchasing."
"Absolutely love this!!! It picks up lots of channels and it was easy to install and use! Can not express enough how great this antenna is! My husband and I hooked it all up and it was literally laying in our living room floor and picked up 25 channels then we mounted it up and we pull in around 40 channels more sometimes! I highley recommend this product to anyone!!"

"This really surprised me. I took the 'old' satellite dish down and strapped a pole on that tripod and put this antenna on the pole. Got 55 stations. Had to remove about 20 Spanish and cartoon stations but get all my local and a bunch of great other stations. Since my wife watches a different variety than I do, I also got her a separate antenna. We are VERY happy to be able to cut the cable TV.

"I’m quite happy with this product. No complaints. It works very well in my area ( St. Petersburg, Fl) I cut the Dish back in October. It’s a great feeling not having the extra monthly bill. Should have done this a long time ago.I highly recommend this antenna.
