"actual item i originally selected was not available, but they let me put the order through and the process was delayed when they were actually not properly stocked for my order.
then, the color of the new item i selected was on backorder.
the price also went up between my looking up the item's price for approval form my supervisor and obtaining an official quote. they would not restore the original price because i hadn't initiated a quote yet.
then, i had two different service reps contacting me--one for my order, one for my quote, and it was confusing and also disrupted to the process. this is what I was avoiding when i did not obtain a quote in the first place, and it still happened.
