"These guys have a little bit of EVERYTHING. I called for a watch battery and they had a couple of different choices. Great. Then I mentioned my Fios beeping and they had a battery for THAT too! My Cell phone battery? YES! My son's Razor scooter. Absolutely! Not sure what they don't carry, but these guys are super fast at finding what I needed and very nice to talk to on the phone. When I need a car battery and my husband needs a motorcycle battery again, this is our ONLY stop. Travis told me to use coupon code TH5 whenever I go online and I'd get 5% off, or I can call and get the same discount. I also paid a fraction more and got TWO YEAR WARRANTIES on all of the batteries. The only way it would get better is if they came an installed all the batteries for me. I didn't know how many things I needed batteries for but it's sure nice to know I only have to shop at one company for everything. "

"I needed a T shaped specialty b.attery for one of my bikes. Boy did I screw up !!! I called J&P CYCLE,service rep was a rude idiot that didnt know crap,after 35 min of wasting time with J&P I called Apex,within 15 min. you guys located my battery,I payed for it,and it was shipped. Thats it. It was that simple.It was so easy to track my shipment too. The battery is now installed and working fine. Thank you,you have a future customer.........OH YEAH (magnavita) I got a good chuckle from your review , if you want a premium American made battery pay a premium price dummy,what ? you want something for nothing ? wake up"

"Not a reputable company. Ordered three batteries for back up power supply units for our computers. Two were OK but one was DOA. I sent them an e mail to see about a resolution-NO REPLY! Eventually I went to a local battery vendor to replace the battery and dispose of the worthless Apex battery."

"Avoid Apex Battery! I too ordered a battery and received a "universal" battery that had the same amperage and voltage as the battery I needed but was physically the wrong size. It wouldn't fit. I emailed them with the problem and Ernesto immediately replied saying he needed to get an RMA number from the warehouse and that would take 24 hours. A week later and no RMA, I emailed him again and again he said he'd have to get the RMA number from the warehouse. Same thing another week later. On week three I called and spoke with Ernesto and - you guessed it - he still had to get the RMA number from the warehouse. Two days later I called American Express, who disputed the charge for me and voila I received the RMA number that day. The RMA also stated I ordered the wrong battery and they would replace the battery once they received the wrong one. I told them to keep it and I expected to be reimbursed in full. Two weeks later they sent a check for the cost of the battery only. In the end I lost $45 - $20 for them to ship it to me and $25 to ship it back - on an $85 battery.

"ordered 2 batteries as replacement for Portalac TPH12100. The original batteries have been used in lawn mower for ~5 years, still giving ~45 mins (being over 1h-new) of operation after 12h charge. After one summer of usage (total of 15-20 recharge cycles), the apex batteries last less than 5 minutes after 24h charge. Fully useless. Apex website allows to post review, under a caveat that the review would be checked prior to postings for relevance. My review could not pass that threshold, no wonder why their products have no negative reviews"

"BAD. NOT as listed on site. Ordered battery 6/1(credit card charged). Ad stated "battery acid is included and need not be purchased separately." received battery 6/7 and first thing you see when opening the box is a sheet of paper stating "ACID NOT INCLUDED - MUST PURCHASE YOU OWN". Did not take battery out of the box, and Called APEX and finanly got their guy to read the right ad about acid being included. He said he would see what they could do and would call me back that day. NO CALL. Called again and again, and finally 6/10 received RMA to return for total price, including shipping. APEX received it 6/18 at 12:40. I called to find out when I could expect my refund, and was told a few days, a Travis had to check warehouse and make sure battery received in good condition, and they would email me. 6/24, no email,no refund, called again, a Travis said he did not talk to me before, but that he would contact warehouse, same exact as on 6/18. This is really bad customer service and false advertising. Will never order anything from them ever. Will update this review in a few days to see if I get my refund. (PS I ordered a sealed cell battery from amazon for same price, and got it in 3 days, I know amazon's customer service is A-1+)
UPDATE 6/28: finally got refund 6/28. Only 21 days from time I called to inform them the battery was not as represented. Still, it was over a month before I got my money so I could buy a different battery.

"I ordered 4 batteries on Sunday. On Monday, we decided to expedite the shipping a bit, so I called their help number at 2:15 in the afternoon, WC time. They were closed. Next morning, Tuesday, I called FIVE times, and spent over 30 minutes on hold in total, listening to recordings about how valuable I was.

While I was on hold for the SIXTH time (every time, I'd given up in frustration) for FORTY MINUTES during a standard work day, I did some research on them. Turns out they advertise batteries they sell as, for instance, "HGL10-12R" which is a "replacement" (translation: Cheap Chinese knockoff) of the original battery I wanted. What had looked like a good price was, instead, deceptive advertising.

I never got anyone on the phone number that they emailed to me. I emailed their helpdesk with an order cancellation yesterday before lunch. Still no response, but I got a paypal refund notice this morning.

So, apparently, they: 1) Sell cheap junk, 2) Don't answer their phones, 3) Don't ship until at least the THIRD day after an order, and 4) Don't even have the courtesy to respond to an order cancellation other than to file a blank refund via Paypal.

Totally unbusinesslike, poor customer service, cheap products. Avoid at all costs.

"I ordered two motorcycles batteries from Apex. I was pleasantly surprised to get a package from Apex the next day, with ONE battery. I emailed them that day. Got an answer that they would be shipping one ASAP. A medical emergency in the family distracted me for a week, and I realized I had never gotten the battery. I emailed them twice with no response. I called the number listed on the invoice email and spoke to a lady that didn't seem very concerned about what was going on. I was promised a battery on Monday, as I was calling on Friday. Well this Wednesday I had still not received the battery. I filed a dispute with Paypal Dispute Resolution asking for a refund of what I had spent. I never heard from them, but suddenly a new battery appeared on my doorstep. I now have both batteries I ordered after almost a month of emails and calls. I have still not heard any communication from these people. The batteries appear to be what I want, but now I am suspicious of their quality. Now with further research I can see these same batteries listed on Amazon.com for substantially less. I usually check Amazon first, and am sorry I did.
At this point I have no ideas as to the quality of the batteries, but would not ever order from them again, or recommend them to anyone else. The only way I received the product I ordered was to request a refund!

Update: LOL As I was writing this review, I received an email with the tracking number for the package I just received. How's that for service. I would rate these guys zero stars if possible.
