"I looked locally for a replacement video card (ATI Radeon 2600HD, apple part #661-4426) for a 24" iMac but could not find any. Apple Palace had them for sale, but for any express shipments the web ordering page mentioned that customer service should be called before placing the order. I was suspicious that this was a way to talk me into buying more stuff, but they just wanted to verify that they had it in stock before I paid for express shipping. Turns out they didn't have it in stock but were able to get one and ship it the next day. I am happy with the service I received on this order.
I noticed that they do not always answer the phone with "Apple Palace." I'm guessing that they run multiple stores but they don't have dedicated phone lines for each one? That was also a bit suspicious initially, but after I talked with them on the phone I figured they were for real. There's no high pressure sales tactics and they were both thorough and pleasant to deal with over the phone. I would buy from them again if I needed any more new replacement parts."
"I love my used macbook pro, thanks guys for all the support . No broken parts, no lcd scratches. Thanks again for your business. "
"I was apprehensive about doing business with this store (because of the limited information about it) however I am extremely happy that I did. They did a great job of answering my pre-sales questions. Don't be turned off if you call them and they answer the phone with, "Computer Graphics" (I think they own more than one businesss at their LA location). They offer Certified Pre-Owned Macs at great prices that come with FREE Apple Diagnostics Check and 60 day warranty. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I would even get the used machine that I ordered, or if it did, what kind of shape it would be in (possibly missing parts, scratches, dead pixels, etc.). After I received the email confirmation that it had shipped, I thought well maybe I'll get it in about a week or two. I got it the next day (around noon) even though they had to uprade the RAM! The machine looked brand new, performs flawlessly, and the keyboard was the cleanest used keyboard, I've ever seen. Their customer service was great. When the machine arrived it was missing the Apple Remote Control. They sent me a replacment right away. (They actually sent me a brand new one instead of the used one that I ordered.)
You can buy a used IMAC Intel Core 2 Duo, with a 24" monitor for graphics pros and photographers for less than $1,000. Or, you can buy a PowerMac G5 with similar specs and an Apple 23" Cinema Display for about $4,000. I chose the IMAC (no brainer). However, you can only get the 24" IMAC for less than a grand (not including shipping, taxes and upgrades or add-ons) at ApplePalace. I know, I checked."
"I have purchased an 2.0GHz Dual G5 PowerMac from Apple Palace. They also upgraded the machine I ordered to 2GB memory , added 500GB Harddrive and an Airport card. Works like a charm. There were small scratches on the case but no dents or other damage. Staff was very helpfull when I was choosing my machine, they helped alot. "
"I searched far and wide for an inverter for my Apple iMac G4 -- the screen had died -- and finally found one at Applepalace.com. There was some confusion between the company and me -- I canceled my order because the Paypal address looked suspicious; they confirmed the cancellation (on phone and in writing); they then called me to say the part was out of stock (even though it was listed as in stock on the Web site); then I received an email that it had been shipped; and a day later I got another phone call complaining that I hadn't paid them! I promised I'd pay as soon as the part arrived. The good news is the part showed after a few days, appeared to be new, and only cost $71 with shipping, and I replaced the broken inverter and the iMac is working just fine. "
