"Due to new technologies that use narrow artificial intelligence to operate, some customers shifted away from the sales."
"iTunes hat fast alles, was man so braucht! Das Angebot ist groß, die Preise sind ok und der Service ist (zumindest das was ich so erlebt habe) super! Fand es echt krass wie schnell und hilfreich mir bei einer Nachfrage geantwortet wurde..das hätte ich so nicht erwartet! "
"The only word that can best define them is "awesome"."
"Great service from itunes service"
"Reasonably priced (especially the 59p music store) and instantaneous delivery - without the faff of having to wait for the postman. Also saves lots of space on storage (books and DVDs) with everything kept together in one place - very handy. Most content is also available through the cloud too saving you on electronic storage aswell. Recommended. "
"I purchased OSX Lion for my Mac through Apple iTunes, everything was well until I noticed that my version of Logic (8.0.2) no longer worked. This was a £100 piece of software by Apple that I purchased with my machine only 2 years ago. To make this work again I'm going to have to spend another £85 to get the upgrade to the latest version, with no guarantees as to if it will work after the next update.
It's a poor show that it makes a key piece of their own software obsolete without any warning."
"Itunes Store has it all.
Except quick speed, intuitive maneuvering, and timely billing.
Your purchases won’t hit Paypal for days so watch out before you balance your checkbook.
I manage my friend’s library so I only go on there for him but he’s found everything he’s ever thought of finding.
I just lost my local hip hop shop but it was replaced with an online store managed by the same owner. Good music won’t die or be controlled by the big “evil” Itunes. I’m a slave to my Ipod & Itunes Software but not the store.

"Terrible experience. After having my account hacked into, I contacted iTunes to have the fraudulent charges refunded. They wouldn't even bother to initiate a refund on their end - I was forced to go to my payment provider and dispute the charges directly. Even then, they didn't respond to those disputes! I had to wait the entire week for the "waiting for response" period to pass before I got my money back. Apple clearly doesn't care about their users."
"High price for the same items you can find everywhre. But good automated system. I guess we are stock with Apple for a while "
"For as old as iTunes is, it's surprising that iTunes is pretty kludgy. :(
1. Does not give you an intuitive way to change the location of your ringtones, pdf's, photos.
2. Does not give you an intuitive way to change the location of your backups. This would be nice, if one uses an external drive.
3. iTunes will erase music/ringtones/applications/podcasts/etc. if you stop syncing. Sometimes, all I want to do is just sync/updates my applications. I would like to avoid syncing everything thing else, to quicken the syncing process...but iTunes always informs me that it will erase my media from both my iPhone and iPad if I don't sync everything. :(
4. Substandard "Help Menu": I tried to find the correct way to transfer photos from my iPhone to my computer. I went to: Help->iTunes Help->Search. I typed "transfer photos" and received the following 3 topics:
-Backing up your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad
-Glossary
-Syncing your Apple TV with iTunes
When I typed "copy photos", I was told that "No Topics Found". When just searching on "photos", again, no topics were found that actually showed how to transfer/copy photos from the iPhone to the computer.
5. There is no intuitive way to copy photos from the iPhone to a PC.
However, iTunes does have some nice features:
1. Podcasts: Totally love them. :)
2. iTunes Store: Love the variety of apps that I can purchase for my iPhone & iPad.
3. The "Apps" Tab under "Devices": Very nice way to easily rearrange icons on the iPhone and iPad.
4. Automatically downloads updates for applications."
"I use an iPad and iPhone and have been purchasing iTuens content for a few years. Mostly no problem but one important feature is missing in iTunes and that is the ability to see if you've purchased the program already. Yes I know that it shows "installed" on your device but here is the issue I ran into. My iPhone crashed and I had to do a restore on the phone without being able to backup my apps in iTues. After the restore I had to redownload the apps. Some apps have 3-4 different versions and for a couple I wasn't sure which ones I had purchased. If you click to purchase only then it will say that you purchaded it already. If not then it will make the purchase and you can't stop it! That's nuts! There could easily be a notification that your "account" has purchased the app or not. I have written apple.com/feedback several times on this. "
"FRAUDULENT CHARGES!!! Apple knows that MANY of their customers' accounts are getting hacked and receiving fraudulent charges for "GIFT CARDS" and other misc items from the iTunes store. This particular charge on my account was for a $50 gift card for someone named Laura. I DON'T KNOW A LAURA!
Unfortunately, Apple is not doing anything about it. They just told me over and over that it is their policy is to NOT REFUND MONEY. Please DO NOT invest in a company that FACILITATES theft and has no remorse about it. I exchanged about 10 emails with their so called "customer support" and all they did was cancel my account (which I demanded that they do). They then proceeded to insult my intelligence over and over by stating their absurd policy.
My information was saved on their servers but yet they tell me they are not responsible for my information getting stolen??? WHAT??? I am actually fortunate because I only had $50 stolen from me. Others have had hundreds of dollars stolen from them. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!"
"oh my lord, i DONT WANT TO INSTALL QUICKTIME OR ITUNES every time i breathe. Apple, your software is becoming more like bloatware every day."
"I have been using this store off and on. I have never had a problem with its DRM. When I order something, it arrives immediately."
"I installed the iTunes software on my daughter's computer and set up an account for her. The iTunes software and website supposedly allows the parent to establish an allowance, which I did. My daughter was given a $10 a month allowance and at first I thought this would be a great idea. The service works well and allows users with iPods to download all kinds of high quality media.
Months went by and I never gave it a second thought. My wife then told me that she's been noticing some high bills on our credit card from iTunes. I then looked into the account and found huge amounts of purchases that went way beyond the $10 a month limit. On one particular day, my daughter charged over $40!
I take partial responsibility for this and also put part of the blame on my daughter. But Apple is also to blame and I will never use their products again. This is very deceptive and I've found others who have used this "allowance" system; only to find that it didn't work.
The service doesn't stop when the buyer reaches their monthly limit; it just keeps letting them download. It also doesn't send out any alerts to the credit card holder (me) or to the user (my daughter). This is very suspicious on Apple's part and I wonder why they (Apple) would allow such deceptive practices.
