"They passed my wife's CC number to a third party signing her up for a $14.95 monthly charge. She received nothing in return -- a total scam/rip-off. They claim she provided authorization via her e-mail and directed her to the third party (call center in India). She spent about an hour on the phone to various places/people getting the charges removed."
"Appleseed's is a mid-level provider of woman's clothing. The quality is fair to good. However, unlike Land's End or LLBean's, it does not stand behind its merchandise. Customer support cannot handle reports of defective sizing on the phone. They suggest a letter, and then they ignore it. Forcing folks to pay to return defective merchandise is really unacceptable. They also don't care if you ask them to stop their catalog mailings. And that's basically it. They do not care. My advice...stick with the people who do care."
