"I actually ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com out of gratitude for the EXTREMELY helpful video I found regarding the installation (and, therefore, removal) of the existing broken fan on my mother's propane dryer. I did not pay for expedited delivery, but the new fan arrived around noon of the second business day (ordered Friday night, received roughly noon Tuesday). The part mated to the original motor perfectly, and the tabs lined up with the dryer housing slots just like the original. While I pray that I do not have to fix the dryer again any time soon, I hope that, if I do, I will remember to order any needed parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. "All in all, my experience was very good with Appliance Parts Pros. I did get a little concerned that I might not receive high-temp adhesive with my upper front drum felt seal, so I ordered a tube. Looks like I will have to return it, as the adhesive came with the seal after all.

I was able to follow the videos and installed the felt seals and put on a new drum belt. However, I was still getting the noise when the dryer ran for a few minutes and got heated up. So I ordered a rear drum bearing kit and installed that (and it gave me the opportunity to do some thorough cleaning). Still got the same issue. It doesn't happen if I run on No Heat setting, though. But my husband tried running it on No Heat for a few minutes, then turned it to Medium heat and it did fine for quite awhile, but then it stopped suddenly. When we tried to start it again, it did nothing but hum (no drum turning). We gave up and bought a new dryer."
