"WARNING: The extended warranty ApplianceSmart sells is bogus. They don't sell the real ones like Lowes, Best Buy, etc. They sell some obscure thing on the most silly looking piece of paper. Hand written. As soon as you make a claim to the extended warranty company, they advise they cannot repair your product for a reason they make up and that replacement isn't an option because ApplianceSmart doesn't have the exact same item in stock. So they mail a refund check for the cost of your extended warranty. See? They just got out of shelling out money! All of this is in the agreement which you do not see. There is no contract, per se. It's a generic bullet point of their contract. A lawyer would flip his lid over this scam. See how this works?
Now, the other thing about ApplianceSmart you must know... they sell DAMAGED merchandise. They do NOT know what is wrong with their products when it arrives to their stores. Sometimes it's a huge crush and gash on a corner and sometimes it's just not operational at all. They call their stuff "scratch and dent" from the factory and closed appliance stores and take $100 off MSRP. Their prices are a JOKE! YOU are responsible for paying to have it delivered. If it fails and you want your money back, YOU are responsible for paying to have it shipped back. Otherwise they take weeks to send someone out to attempt to fix your appliance.
My personal experience!
After going to every possible online store and brick and mortar store, I chose Lowes. They ended up being the best deal for the same products and their warranties are REAL! I bought two fridges. one had issues with the ice maker. They sent out someone to fix it the next day. I've bought extended warranties on other products at Lowes and the warranties are the best in the industry. No hassles ever!"
