"We needed to go to Russia at the last minute. With just under 1 week to obtain our visa, we checked several services and kept getting the same response: turnaround time of 12 business days, 8-10 days for expedited service (when available). When we called APVI, they said they could turn around our visas within 24 hours of submission of the application and supporting documents. They did it. They received my documents on Tuesday morning and by Tuesday evening my visa was put in a Fedex envelope and on its way to me. I have four days to spare and a lot less stress.
