"The check out was easy, I was little disappointed they didn't offer free shipping but so far this substrate has been worth it it look really clean in my tank. I didn't rinse it first (as the instructions suggest) and the cloudiness cleared up in a few hours. It is very light but no problems with my substrate floating around.
Steps to take: I emptied my tank and gave it a deep clean, poured the substrate into the tank and then hooked up my python hose and turned on the water. I got all the substrate wet before i let it really fill up. I do find that there are air pockets in in so when it's low on water i suggest putting your hand in the substrate and move it around to get those out.
Also, the shipping was quite a bit faster than it said it was going to be. It said it was due to arrive today (thursday) but it was here monday. "

Was browsing on a Saturday night and saw there shipping special, that helped me shop for plants. I placed my order and was notified when they shipped and arrived. The plants were healthy and plentiful. For a seasoned hobbyist, but new to doing a planted tank with so many new plants and how and placement is a bit challenging. That is the nice thing about this hobby it can always be changed."

"I've always had only excellent service from AquariumPlants.com! My most recent order continued that streak. I ordered two bunches of Egeria densa to "stand in" for Elodea in Biology labs. It arrived on a Friday at school and the receptionist or a student just put it in my mailbox, even though the box was very clearly marked perishable (oh no!). I didn't get it until Sunday afternoon. But when I opened the box, the plants were a beautiful shade of green, and fresh, and still wet. I put them in spring water right away and they looked terrific this (Monday) morning. "
