"My purchase from AquariusRecords.org could not have been any better. Seriously. My overall experience was awesome and they far exceeded my expectations.

If you choose to read my review of J&R Music, you will understand where this saga began. Anyway, I follow the band Alice Donut on Facebook and they posted that Aquarius had some of their limited edition (500 copies made) DVD/double CD documentary/remastered favorites selection available. Having been shut out of this deal before, I ordered immediately. I got the following email shortly after:

"Hello--

This is an automated message to let you know we have received your order. We don't like automated messages either, so the real live humans in the mailorder department will contact you within 1-3 days to let you know which items we have in stock and when the order will ship."

Well, they were a bit quicker, I got my human follow up only 12 minutes later:

"hey jan,
thanks so much for the order.
we just sold out, but we have more on order and will have more in the next few days. we'll send your order off the second we do.
cheers //
aNDEE"

Three days later they shipped my order and it arrived a couple days after that.

Now that is the kind of customer service that earns repeat customers. And I don't even mean having my order a mere 6 days after placing it, I mean the quick contact to tell me that they were currently out of stock but would ship as soon as it came in. Honest communication to keep me in the loop. That was completely 180 degrees opposite of my experience with J&R Music.

I've browsed the Aquarius website and my only regret is that I don't have a turntable any more to enjoy the huge selection of vinyl that they offer. They do have CD's too, so I'm sure I will order from them again. I just miss spinning up some good old school records.
