"I thought I was getting a good deal on colorful rams, and apistogrammas. I was fooled by the nice pictures they have on the website. Instead I received 16 gray, washed out female mostly fish. I'm very disappointed. My wife picked up better looking rams from petsmart, never again. Sad. "

"Do not EVER order from this "company". And don't just take my word for it: check out the horrible reviews all over the internet. They were my worst-ever internet experience. Half my order was missing, the rest mostly dead. Absolutely NO help from them and my "refund" can only be used on another order -- and another exorbitant bill for shipping. It's been 18 months and I am still appalled. No invoice emailed or included in the package of dead stuff!!!!!"

"Stay from this company, last order of fish 6 out of 10 were dead, all the snails were dead. Next order was for a filter, it never arrived, Cannot get anyone to answer the phone or email. Never do business with these people!!!!!"

"AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Their website states that it could take a week or so delay on shipping because of something not being in stock. It took THREE weeks for my order and not only did I not receive one of the fish I ordered, the other I got was completely wrong! I ordered a Hillstream Loach and what they sent me was a Freshwater Flounder.

I've made multiple attempts to contact them but they never pick up their main office phone, their secondary line's voicemail box is full so you can't leave a message and they never respond to my emails.

Horrible company with horrible customer service. I'm all about supporting small, family run businesses but this is one of the few that should be driven under because of their horrible communication and customer service.

"Bad, Bad, Bad customer service. Rude and arrogant is only way to describe them. Missing items in shipment. "we triple check all orders" was their reply, like im trying scam them out of $6 extra plants. Wouldn't reship missing items that I paid $40 shipping for, shipping almost as much as cost of items I ordered. 2 plants missing, I mean really, they couldn't even get 2 plant, put them in USPS box w/heat pack and send them to me, which might cost them $12 to fix their mistake and keep a customer. Quality not all that great, 1 plant all but completely melted away after 3 days, one of the $10 plant I ordered was puny little runt that I might give $2 for on a good day. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET ANY OF MY BUSINESS. STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THE $6 REFUND THEY SAID ID GET FOR MISSING PLANTS POSTED TO MY CC ACCOUNT."

"Their customer service is terrible when you have problem with your order. I ordered some freshwater shrimps from Arizona Aquatic. All the shrimps (cost $130) died when I UPS delivered the package. I do understand that it’s not 100% Arizona Aquatic fault. The shrimps died are due to high temperature which was caused by poor packaging and UPS delivery delayed.
I took pictures of the unopened bags of the dead shrimps and emailed to Arizona Aquatic right after I received the package from UPS. I have sent them numerous emails but have never got a respond from them.
I filed a package damage claim to UPS. Hopefully I will hear from UPS.
This is just my experience with Arizona Aquatic. Actually, this is my third or fourth orders from them. From the previous orders there were a few shrimps died when they arrived. I did not even email to claim for the lost.

"Poor quality products, sloppy shipping, hidden shipping costs... Perhaps one of the worst online shopping experiences I've had. I joined just to write this review after seeing someone else experiencing similar issues with this company. The plants I ordered were all brown and in poor condition. I was only able to nurse a few of the plants back into health. I have had better luck with items bought off of ebay from other hobbyists. The plants were poorly packaged, and were mostly dried out despite the short shipping time involved. The shipping costs were not transparent in the order process (only was made fully aware of the shipping costs after the transaction went through). Shipping the plants also cost more than from any other online aquatic supplier... yes, more than Dr. Foster & Smith charges for shipping live fish (not plants... and at least all their products are healthy!). Will be shopping elsewhere from now on."

"This online company is HORRIBLE. They will sand bag your order with shipping costs THREE TIMES higher than the actual cost. I can not say enough bad things about them. They were rude on the phone and completely unhelpful. SHOP ELSEWHERE"
