"Very unimpressed with the service, this operation seems to be run from home a garage. I placed an order of several products stated to be in stock, which obviously was not. I depended on them to deliver these products for an employee who is being deployed to a high risk area. I followed up 3 weeks later and was told the products are not in stock. Now I must scramble and find an alternative source for these products.
This company must realize that their products SAVE LIVES, and when they claim to be in stock, and in fact NOT IN STOCK may cause an operator depending on timely delivery of their products bodily injury of possibly loss life. "If you value your time money or dignity then STAY AWAY from this inept company. According to their website, Arms Unlimited, had the item I needed in stock so I called them to make sure it was actually in stock - three times she assured me that the part was the correct one that I need and I was in stock so I placed the order via phone w her on July 17th, 2015. I did not receive a sales receipt nor any tracking information for the remainder of that week and after week after placing the order I still had not received a sales receipt nor any tracking info and the part had not come in the mail so I sent them another email on the July 22nd, 2015 to find out what was going on with my part. They apologized for the inconvenience and STILL DID NOT send me a sales receipt or tracking info they just said sorry… So I replied to them two more times to ask did they have my information like I asked for and got no response either time. It was now the day of July 24th, 2015 and my part had FINALLY showed up in the mail; excited to have the final piece I needed to complete this night vision setup, I opened the package to discover that they had sent me the wrong part! I sent them another email expressing my disappointment with their actions and the next day I received a phone call from a young lady who worked for arms unlimited who apologized again and told me that she was emailing me a label to return the part and as soon as they could see that the part was sent out then they would ship my part to me via expedited mail. I went out of the way to find a way to get the part sent off and emailed them to two of their different addresses again to let her know it had been taken care of -they still DID NOT send my part out. With no response and no tracking information sent to me by July 27th, 2015 I angrily sent them another email describing my anger with their incompetence and demanding a response, a link to their business survey and requesting overnight shipping because of the complications. I finally received my replacement part and once again was excited about receiving the last part I need to get my rig together and eagerly opened the package to discover that they had sent THE WRONG PART AGAIN - they sent the EXACT SAME wrong part twice! Again I did not receive my sales receipt nor my tracking information… After not receiving my item on Tuesday of this week August 4th, 2015 I called them back to find out what their problem was only to find out that they still had not shipped my part out!!! This time, in absolute disgust and outrage, I told her flat out that if she did not have my part to on overnight shipping by the end of the day and if it was not at my door the next day I would be seeing what legal action I could take against them. The part was not in the mail today, August 5th, 2015 and so I called them back again – the girl acted like she was so surprised that I hadn’t gotten the part yet and told me that she had sent it out on July 31st, 2015 even thought the other lady told me it hadn’t been shipped!!!! She told me that she would send me my tracking information on it and I told her that I would not hang up with her until my tracking information showed up in my email and, with me on the phone, she “sent” me my tracking information that never showed up in any box in my email account including the junk box - She hung up on me after not sending my information to me.
You have right to do business with whomever you please, however, as the consumer you also have the right to know how companies behave and treat their customers and this one is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with thus far – they have absolutely no consideration nor respect for the consumer and every company needs to be held accountable to their customers; I will never do business with them again and would advise ANYONE to stay far away from them. Arms Unlimited site showed item in stock, and accepted my order. Received Order Confirmation.
Two weeks later: nothing, so checked site. Item showed OOS. Sent email requesting cancellation; no response.
Sent email with "2nd REQUEST" in header; received response "That order has already been cancelled."
Checked order status in account; still showed "Processing". Sent inquiry asking why order still showed as active; received no response.
Weeks later received email stating the item was in, and that I needed to approve shipment; thoroughly disgusted with the incompetent Customer "Service" and order handling, elected not to respond.
A week later received a phone message asking me to phone in and approve shipment; again, not wasting any more of my time with these amateurs.
Will not be doing business with Arms Unlimited in the future, and doing my part to encourage others to do the same."
"I bought a box of 1000 223 rounds Feb 26. The page said "In Stock". On Mar.2 was told they would ship Mar 6. On Mar 6 was told they would ship on Mar 10. On Mar 10 they blamed weather on Mar 5 for not shipping. Said would ship on Mar 11. On Mar 11 they said the should be shipped on 11 or 12. On Mar 12 they said they should be shipped sometime this week. They said Summit ammo was snowed in for 2 weeks in Ga. Summit ammo is in Al. They have tied my money up for 2 weeks, ignored 4 emails and have no idea when my ammo will get to Tn. I am leaving on vacation tomorrow. Apparently without ammo. "I ordered a thousand round case of 9mm ammo that was on sale with free shipping to boot. I thought the shipping got off to a slow start but you really can't complain when it's free! When UPS handed me the package someone that had handled it during shipping had opened it and removed 550 rounds (11x50 count boxes) then taped it back up. I called and talked to Daniel and he immediately reimbursed me for the missing Ammo. I highly recommend Armsunlimited.com and will definitely be doing business with Daniel again. "Wow, they may be great in the store....but online they blow. Ordered a item and was shipped something completly different. No problem, mistakes happen. I email them on Saturday, knowing they are closed. Monday goes by, no response. Tuesday comes and i get a email with a return shipping label, nothing about the current item i ordered. I call and i am told the manager said it would ship today. Cool. Wed comes, no tracking. Call again, told it shipped tuesday, they would send me tracking. End of wed comes and i get a tracking label created on the 5th.....so obviously it didnt ship tuesday. As of today, the 6th, still has not shipped, and no customer service finally replies and said they wont ship until the wrong item THEY shipped returns. No one knows what is going on. "Ordered a T-1 and mount, they sent the wrong part (a $20 spacer not the $70 mount) I called them they gave me a return shipping label and said they my mount would be sent out that day. Well two days pass no word or tracking (I call back and they said it was shipped yesterday) well about an hour ago I got a notice a label was created but it hasn't shipped yet so they blatantly lied to my face so to speak. At this point they sent the wrong part and lied to me about shipping it (twice). I have spent over a $1000 a year for the last 3 years with them. I real hope that getting that $20 part back before correcting YOUR mistake was worth losing all of my business over. Please don't lie about shipping status that a very poor reflection on your company."
"I hadnt found many reviews on this site before i ordered an aimpoint pro (best price I could find at $375) and an inforce weapon light (also best price I found at $135 for the 500lumen model). They shipped it just a few hours after I placed the order on 9/16. Both items got here by 9/18 even though I only used their free shipping and not the expedited. "I bought an A.R.M.S front sight for my AR built almost a year ago and I emailed them right after my order just to make sure to get the right size for my barrel, Never heard from them and they send it anyway even if its the wrong size? so when i got my order I called the customer service a lot of times until I've finally talk to Daniel about the issue and I intend to return the Item. Then He told me if I will return the Item I'll be charged with restocking Fee even its not my Fault? after long discussion Daniel suggested to avoid the said Fee, I just order different item as a replacement. So i agreed rather than paying a ridiculous charges which is really not Fault in the first Place.
After 11 months later while reviewing my Bank yearly statement I've found out that They Charged me a $25 extra for no reason? When I called them was able to talk the same person who Lied to me 11 months ago and refused to give my money back,Denied our conversation before despite all the evidence on file in my account. All official transaction receipts,Order Comments and Email. His excused? He just simply can't help me because it was along time ago? Even if I told him that I was deployed and i only had the chance to look for my Bank Statement when i got back but it was cold hearted, completely untrustworthy person very unprofessional He shouldn't be allow to working retail business.No Integrity at all,,,Try to call back to talk to a Supervisor but no answer.
Some of you who might read on this review might say ohhh It was only $25 but Imagine that in Hundreds of customers out there everyday who would be a potential victim?
Message to the Owner: you might don't give a damn about this issue but your Business lies on what your Employees actions and I might be one Person as you think but the power of Social Media is so Powerful now a days and as one of the thousands member of a Disable Veteran on Facebook and Tweeter I believe that's a good start.
