"After payment, I tried to contact them, but I don't find any contact information on arthousereproductions.com, there is no tel no., no email address, no physical address. I ask for refund, the didn't give me. I ordered two paintings from the guys. After 3 month's waiting and hurry them many times, the goods arrived and are awful, because the items arrived with 3 weeks delay. As well as they didn’t look the same as on the picture on www.arthousereproductions.com. The quality was poor and these items didn’t cost such sum. I was disappointed and decided to return items. But the seller was angry person, who yelled at me and said that he didn’t want to deal with me."
"I had ordered an artwork advertised on arthousereproductions.com almost a month ago. A few weeks after, I tried to contact the merchant and all my emails were bouncing back and the website itself was unavailable. After a couple of days, I was thankful that the website was up again and this time I heard back from the merchant who again reassured me that the item was being "hand painted" and would therefore take time. I received the art work today, and to my dismay, I found that it is simply canvas printing. The image was enlarged to the size advertised, and the resolution is terrible. In trying to dupe the buyer, a few brush strokes have been made here and there on the canvas, to pass off for hand painted. The pores of the canvas are clearly visible with weak color absored by it. It does not even meet the standards of good canvas printing; any child could tell that it is not painted and only printed. If the merchant had clearly advertised about canvas printing, like legitimate canvas printing websites, I would not be filing this report, but would simply be asking for a refund for poor quality. However, more than once the merchant emailed to me about the art work being hand painted and the website fraudulently advertises for handpainted canvases and charges for it. Lastly, the canvas was shipped to me from a vietnamese company called Nam Phuong Art co. ltd which appears to be someone arthousereproductions.com subcontracts to. Please beware of these merchant and do not get tempted by the fake advertising of hand painting, unless you are happy to receive a printed canvas with a few random brush strokes.
FYI: this is from the arthouse.com has on their website contradictory to what they provide:
