I originally saw the ornaments in a catalog and was going to order from them, but they had very bad recent reviews (apparently they are sending a small stick-on oval and not actually engraving the ornaments any longer.) In my searching, I found the "A Special Gift" website; their price was competitive and they offered different fonts (lettering styles) of engraving, so I was HOPING they would turn out well.
They were ordered on Tuesday and picked them up from my p.o. box last night on my way home from an out-of-town Thanksgiving.
These are very special gifts for friends of mine and I was almost afraid to open them and find them not as I had hoped. I was so relieved I almost cried - they are PERFECT!
The lettering is deep and dark and easily readable. I ordered two (I took a chance as I didn't know if I would get them soon enough to send back out), one for a man and another for a woman, so I used two different fonts. They look great. I didn't do "In Memory of", I did one simple line on each and it was centered perfectly. The boxes are gift quality and make a very nice presentation, which was very important to me since these are such important gifts.
I am just so pleased, I would HIGHLY recommend this item and wouldn't hesitate to order other products from them now.
