"The car was not all as promised. The car that was reserved was supposed to fit to luggage's and have air-conditioning.
The car had A/C but it was not functional. We drove the car through the deserts with heat as high as 55°C.
The car car barely had a trunk that fit on one luggage. The other luggage had to be placed on the backseat. We paid extra for the trunk size. When we picked the car up the explained that this was the only car available and we will have to make due. They didn't even try to find another option. The car they rented us was a Suzuki Celerio.
As well to make matters worse when we dropped off the car on Aug 6th there was supposed too be someone at the counter as of 7:00am. There was no one there. They left a phone number to contact but there was no answer. Finally at 8:30 someone answered and said they will be there soon and if we needed to catch a flight to slide the keys under the door. We waited until 9 o'clock and still nobody showed. We want to do a visual inspection of the car with them in order to ensure that everything was okay and there was no surprise charges since everything else had wrong with this car. We then slid the keys under the door in order not to miss our flight.
Poor Service and not the car promised!!!!!!

I will be using Atlaschoice from now on. I used them for 29 days in Florida and had an excellent experience. Even with human error (I had to rent a different car on my last day) it was cheaper than any other company out there and I checked. I was also able to communicate with atlaschoice and their partners whom treated me very well. I had no trouble. It actually was a pleasure. They run an efficient business. The only negative I had was with my last partner whom charged me $13.00 for gas even though I brought a gas bill in and showed it to them. It was still cheaper than alternatives. I've seen some complaints. I don't know what planet they drove on but here on Earth I think there is no better car rental than atlaschoice. As long as they continue policies such as these I shall continue to use them. "

"Our VW Polo was an excellent car for driving in Ireland. It was an automatic as ordered. Unfortunately the line up to get the car at Dublin airport was very long, however once we arrived at the desk, the staff were helpful in getting us settled, & the shuttle service was very efficient.
The only complaint I have with the car rental company is that they tried to rent us a GPS even though I said we wouldn't need one as we had borrowed one. They also must have known that the car came with its own navigation system, so we wouldn't have needed to rent one anyway.
When we returned the car, the staff was again very efficient & the shuttle came promptly so we didn't have to worry about catching our flight."
"As a regular traveler to Europe I have used the services of many car rental companies and will be using in the future but I have to tell you I will never ever going to use Atlaschoice again.
I just returned from my trip to Budapest Hungary on 28 th of July. I have arranged rental car through online as I always do. This time I chose Atlaschoice but is was a big mistake! The car rental company in Budapest they deal with was Schiller car rental. When you see Schiller car rental just run don't even think about it. They supposed have a shuttle transportation to their location at your arrival because they are located a few kilometer from the airport. Same when you return the car after your holiday they supposed to drop you off at the airport at the departure.
On our arrival they put us in a taxi at their cost of course to their location which was ok. When we returned the car to them - the rain was pouring - they told us the transportation in on the way but they don't know how long it will take because of the weather - which of course made us a little bit nervous because we had to be at the airport in time. When the bus arrived we found out from the driver - not the personal from Schiller - that the driver doesn't have a permit to go to the drop off at the departure he can only drive us to the airport parking and we have to go up to the terminal drag all the suitcases through the parking as I said in a pouring rain. When I asked the persons at the table in their office if this is correct the answer was yes, this is the way they do it nothing they can do. After that they didn't even want to talk to me anymore. On the way to the airport the bus driver said he heard our conversation with the rental office personal and said many many people complained to him about Schiller rental but they don't do anything to fix the problems.
It was very surprising because over the years this was the first time that I have experienced this from any car rental companies.
The staff at their office was very unprofessional , didn't care at all I would say rather rude.
Obvious that Atlaschoice as a company has a lower standard then others and they deal with similar low standard car rental companies. I wish I knew that before I made the reservation.
I hope my review will help people to make a choice when looking for car rental and save them some headache.
I know I will not rent a car from Atlaschoice in the future.

First of all, the service of ATLASCOICE was perfect. All went well until the moment we were standing at the FOX RENTAL desk in San Francisco.
Although one can read a lot about it and it is not the first time I rent a car abroad, FOX RENTAL is the stereotype of "RIPPING OFF RENTAL". We recommend you investigate FOX RENTALS behaviour in the USA..., as it harms Altascoices reputation.
It is a psychological thing. You arrive in a new country. You stay in line at the car rental company and behind you there are about 30-50 others, who want a car. The guy then takes voucher and starts to talk and talk, like...
You know that you have NO insurance at all? In California the street law is sever and costs high if you are involved in a car accident... You need an insurance... We offer X, Y, Z.
At the end we were stupid enough to take the second cheapest, which still was at almost the same price like the rental of the car.
We strongly advise you to chose "prepayment of tank filling" as out there it is much more expensive... Our FOX RENTAL bill shows USD 42.**** and after a 3 weeks travel with moments, where the tank was copmletly empty (driving 35 miles with warning light - no fuel), we were never able to fill the tank exceeding USD 33.-- .
So we do agree, we could have said NO to all of this, but you know how it is. If they talk and talk fast and are so pushy like INDIAN street sellers - you end up to buy an extra grandmother...
We never ever experienced such a case with car rental companies, either in UK, IRL, SP, IT etc.
So we strongly recommend you to talk with your FOX partner, or sooner or later ALTASCOICE will be named in the same moment and way as FOX RENTAL...

The person who took our first gave us a brand Hyundai small car, which did not match the car I had rented (Nissan Sylphy), to make the corresponding claim, he realized that I was handing the car of another customer, we gave this car Hyundai small, telling us that the next day we would deliver in another office (central Auckland) the car I had not had leased it available, this caused delay a day trip to the South Island as we had planned. I also should point out that this gentleman mislaying keys replacement car and dropped me and my children alone in the office while he was at the airport to other customers, without even giving us an explanation, he simply left. The delivery was delayed a couple of hours and also had to change car the next day, causing us many delays in our trip. On the other hand the car was quite old and give absolutely empty of fuel. In short, very bad experience with you !!!"
