"I would definitely buy from them again! I purchased a UNIDEN phone set and it got lost in the mail via UPS. I knew I should have used FEDEX since they are always a lot more reliable.
I contacted Audio Discounters and asked what could be done. They filed a claim with UPS and re-sent me the item. They were 100% courteous and understanding. EXCELLENT customer service.

"They show product as available when they really don't have it in stock. Upon ordering will charge your credit card immediately but will not ship the product for weeks on weeks provided they actually get the product in.

"Customer service horrible. I ordered and paid for 2 day shipping, and 3 days later still no package. I call and they say items on backorder, so I cancel the order. Then they go ahead and charge my credit card, refusing to refund my money, then decide to ship my package almost 3 weeks later. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and refuse shipment of their package. Customer service completely uncaring and uncooperative, they just want their money, don't care at all about the customer or retaining customers."
"I live in Oklahoma, and during the worst ice strom of our history I ordered batteries, radio, flashlights from this company. (Due to over 250,000 homes without electric and phone service) because all the stores were out of basic supplies including D batteries. I paid over $50.00 for shipping 2nd day air delivery on items that cost about $69.00 on December 12th. I sent the company an email on December 14 to find out the status of the package. They email me back letting me know that they shipped the itmes on December 14th (Friday) via FedEx. When I contacted FedEx they told me that the package would be delivered on December 18th (6 days after I placed the order) because they did not get the package until Friday and Saturday and Sunday are not considered "delivery days". It took me to be desperate to use this company and I never will again! Update. I emailed the company to request a credit for the six day delay in the 2nd day air package. They refused. After three days of emailing the company I did not receive a credit. I refused the package when it was delivered to my house and contacted my credit card to dispute the charges from audiodiscounters.com. I will NEVER use this company again. NEVER!"
"I place an order on 7/10/2007 for a Coby CX-CD282 CD Boombox. The website said I would received a tracking number within 48 hours. I contacted them on 7/18/2007 to say I had not received a tracking number and wanted to know when it was shipped. They claimed that their inventory system was "off" and that the item was on backorder with no ETA. They charged my credit card for the item 2 days after the order was placed. I communicated with three people there asking why my card was charged, and why I wasn't notified by e-mail of the backorder. They never answered my question about the credit card. It took over a day to get them to tell me the item had no ETA. They said I could choose another product or wait for the item to come in which they expected to be "soon". I told them I didn't want to do either - I wanted the order cancelled and my credit card credited back for the charge that never should have happened. They said they would "get the order cancelled". "

They charge my account without my knowledge and send me items that i did not order. When I email them to stop doing this, they give me a fictitious story about how my previous order made 2 months back was messed up by them and that they did not get my returns back in order. They conviniently do this 2 months after my original order. NOT NICE AT ALL. I am cancelling my credit card due to these schmuks. STAY AWAY - The advertised low rates are a scam to rip you off later."
"Disappointed. I searched high and low to find a particular (new-on-the-market) product. Their website said they had 'Qty 1' in stock; I even called and they assured me they had stock. After the order was placed, THEN I get an email saying it's backordered and should arrive "shortly". Great prices, but they don't seem to have their inventory system working properly. "Packing slip order# is different from email confirm purchase order. I listed my Packing slip invoice # since it also contains Customer PO#.
My panasonic headset broke so I've been looking all over and no one seems to have it even the big retailers like OfficeMax, Office Depot don't have it or only online and cancelled orders with messages that it's on backorder or discontinued.
So despite the so so and negative reviews on this company and affilated Great Deals, Inc. company, I decided to take a chance.
Website is ok to navigate, ordering was a breeze, didn't log into yahoo so it did not register with yahoo, they use the yahoo checkout system.
Email came immediately showing purchase confirmation. Another email showed up a few days later giving information on shipping with tracking url but it didn't work since I wasn't logged into Yahoo systems at purchase time.
Finally it arrived sooner than I expected given the so so and negative comments.
Item was shipped via USPS as requested and brand new.
I'm pretty happy with the experience. Will order headsets again if no one else carries it and comments on resellerratings.com remain constant. If comments go downhill I'll decide then if I really have to have these headsets.
All in all a very positive experience."
"BAIT and SWITCH COMPANY. I ONLY reason I chose this company when I wanted to purchase a home security system because they had the cheapest price on the DVR-400RW. In the same order, I purchased 3 cameras and extension wire. When I received the shippment in the mail, all I received was one camera and the wire. I was told the other 2 cameras were on backorder, and that the specially priced DVR-400RW WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT ALL. Unfortunately, their online shipping status did not indicate the DVR-400RW was not shipped, so I only found this out when I opened the box. They said they could sell me a more expensive model and give me 5-6% off. I decided that was not acceptable, and I wanted to return the items I received. They said I would have to pay shipping both ways, and to add insult to injury, I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. I hate companies like this that lure you into making a very expensive purchase with LOW pricing on items they don't even have, waste your time waiting on the darn thing to arrive, and then provide sub-standard customer service. They said sorry, that's our policy. I told them, I would do my best to inform others about their shady practices. Shame on you at Audio-Discounters.com."
