"Edited after follow up from Auto Lenders (and an update to the review was requested): Added 1 additional star. I don't think it's fair to give a five star review regardless of the handling post-review. After leaving my review, I received a call from Auto Lenders corporate attempting to correct the issue. I am not sure what if anything will be addressed with the manager, but they did answer my questions and give me a new point of contact for any additional follow up, which I appreciated.
Our salesperson, Michael, was great - knew the car we were interested well, was friendly, and up front about everything. The trouble started when the manager, Vishal, got involved. He thought it was appropriate to tell me to “smile” and tell inappropriate stories about his daughter. He also was extremely pushy and tried to force us to purchase an extended warranty that we made clear we did not want by asking more than 4 times, and even tried to ask my husband alone when I stepped away to clean out our old car. He had the air of someone doing us a favor by letting us buy a car from him. Had we not been so interested in the car we purchased, we would have walked away from the deal. I have a feeling he is not used to women who have opinions and did not like that he was not able to bully us into purchasing the extended warranty. Overall, I like Auto Lenders, but wish we could have dealt with a different manager who acted more professionally."
"Appreciated that the dealer was able to obtain the car quickly from another location. Was surprised the minor accident, though cosmetic and fixed, was not included in the listing. Neither was the very small ding noticed by us, the buyers, when we saw the car in person. Neither of this translates to a price break. Dealer break room and bathroom could have been cleaner. Otherwise, experience with the sales person and manager were good, and very happy with the car so far."
"In a bind, my wife and I came in to the Toms River showroom and found the car we both needed AND wanted. Clint, our sales rep was able to multi-task between customers on a very busy Saturday and help us find that car and finish the transaction.
This is the second time in a year that Clint helped me buy the car we needed and I will for now on make Auto Lenders in Toms River my first stop when I need a car.
Plus...No shifty sales tactics, no crazy add-ons, they just sell good cars with low pressure. "
""This is my third car through AL Williamstown, and I couldn't be happier. From scheduling the car to be delivered to Williamstown lot, to scheduling a test drive and driving off the lot, just flawless. I have never felt pressured to buy and they always work around what will work best for your budget. Also, I can't forget to mention Ross, AL sales associate of Williamstown. His knowledge with the vehicle you are testing, answering questions you have and handling any issues that come up during the purchasing process is just spot on. He is just an all around great guy to work with and when it is time to purchase my forth car, I will be sure to contact him to make it four purchases with Ross. Now, I gave 4 stars only for one reason, that is the vehicle has possibly belt noise, which I pointed out to Ross. AL is going to fix it with no problems, but just an inconveniences to have to schedule an appointment right when you get a car. This should have been found/fixed during AL car inspection prior to a customer purchasing vehicle. I understand things get missed and Autolender's sees many cars daily, but not what a car buyer wants to do right after purchase. The other issue is the Autolenders service center I have been dealing with for years is booked until December, so I had to find a center much further to schedule this month. I wish Autolenders was able to squeeze me in at the service center I use, but I was told all centers are booked. Either way, I great buying experience with AL for start to finish."

He was very personable and informative, so when the end of the month came and we were ready to purchase we looked John up. He really is a great guy! "Excellent staff, very knowledgeable and courteous. Made our vehicle purchase a seamless process. Florenc Pashako was our sales person and was in constant contact with me answering any questions I had regarding our purchase. I noticed minor car wash brush scratches on the exterior of the vehicle. Florenc setup and appointment to have our car detailed. The detail person did and excellent job. Our car looked like a brand new car! Everyone made our purchase a pleasurable experience!! "

"Bought a truck Saturday it’s Friday it already had to go to shop battery died bc lights just turn on and off in middle of night got footage on security camera , truck shakes at 65 mph + left to right swaying violently...they said they fixed drove home tonight same thing so I’ve had truck for a week been to service at auto lenders they said they fixed but did not. Managers don’t return phone calls at all I have to go there in person to talk to them to just get the run around by far nothing but a disappointment 40,000 dollar truck with 30,000 miles should not be like this at all. So week 1 hardly got to use my new truck and now they will have to check it out again so week 2 I won’t be driving it what’s the point to just pay for something I can’t use terrible love the truck if it worked properly I want to switch for another but they will not let me... I guess the next step will be legal action "
