"The color code on my truck was not in AT's library and customer service said they did not offer that color. I ended up going to a local body shop who verified alternate paint codes of which ALL were in AT's library. This is information I believe AT should know because it's their business. I nearly walked away disappointed. Nonetheless, I worked with nice people and I am very happy with their products. I color matched for 5 years in an earlier life and was very impressed how close their paint color matched on my 29 year old truck. The products sprayed nicely in my HVLP (35 psi for the paint, 20 psi for the clearcoat using 3/8" air line and V-style fittings...don't go smaller). I bought ready-to-spray, aerosol, and 2-part urethane clearcoat. Packaging was top notch. Took 12 days but I was forewarned prior to ordering so I appreciate ATs honesty. It was worth the wait for me. Perhaps include a paint filter or two with ready-to-spray orders. I highly recommend AT for your auto painting needs."

"The undercoat pen works well to fill in the chip and then sand it off with micromesh. It will take more than one coat. Use the color pen to coat the top and then sand again with micromesh to smooth it out. The only problem is that the color pen dried up on me before finishing! However, I also bought a jar of the color coat and am using that to finish.

I also bought a jar of clear coat but using the brush in the jar does not go on smooth and is impossible to sand smooth! I plan to use a spray can of clear coat on one area with a lot of dings and sand with micromesh to get a high polish finish. I already have the clear coat in a spray can left over from a previous repair and another vehicle. On the other scratches and dings I plan to use the clear coat using a air sprayer that I can better control and put on thinner coats and then match in by rubbing out with the micromesh.

"I ordered this product with hopes that I could make a salvage title car a little more "presentable". The paint matched so close that you have to stare at it to see the difference in the adjoining hood/door. paint dried quickly so additional light coats didn't run. clearcoat went just as easily.

Shipping lead times are lengthy, so that is the only negative. "

"First pen received said it was the right code, but when paint came out it was RED! Color was supposed to be GREEN. However, after speaking w/the lady she apologized and stated it would be corrected. And she did! Sent the same color as originally requested and sent it USPS Priority Mail. This time it was correct and a perfect match. These people know what Customer Service means!"
