"I bought two packages of #2486 Mr. Gasket Co. chrome dust caps. They are advertised as being 2 3/16" in diameter. They are Not 2 3/16" - they are actually 2 1/16".
I hope I can get a local muffler shop to stretch them to fit. Otherwise I have a throw away purchase.
--Updating the above comments, I did sucessfully get a local muffler shop to stretch the dust caps. Moreover, I was contacted by Autopartsnetwork.com, and offered a refund, which is no longer necessary.
--I would like to also note that other sites (such as Autozone) also list the dust caps as 2 3/16" in diameter. Either Mr. Gasket has misinformed its customers, or changed the size of its #2486 dust cap.
