"Called Auto Parts Network before buying a Snowsport plow that was listed on their web page. I was told there was an error and the front receiver hitch (plow mount) was not included. I purchased it anyway and the next day the order was cancelled, Auto Parts stating they had a mistake on the web page and their price was for the plow only, not the mounting items as they had listed. Auto Parts cancelled the order. Was told there is no way they could sell it for the listed $915.60, but would sell it to me for $1500.00. Item clearly shows it includes everything, which manager Robert at Auto Parts Network agreed. Here is the exact wording from the web page regarding the plow (copied and pasted).

84 in. Includes Aluminum Blade Kit; Push Frame Kit PN[40672]; Angle Interceptor Kit PN[30604]; Plow Mount;

So as far as their excuse about items in brackets not being included, the initial sale included the bracket items, but not the plow mount, which has no brackets. So I guess, just like a child would do, Auto Parts Network blames somebody else, like me, the manufacturer and the parts industry for something they had total control over.

I would not have a problem with this, but I did the right thing and called 1st before ordering and was assured by manager Robert, those parts are included (except the plow mount). Robert even said to call back after placing the order so he could make sure the other parts get sent with the plow.

Addition to Auto Parts Networks current response. If you, as consumers are not aware, a review can be changed after it is sent and posted. Auto Parts network changed their response after receiving the response I posted, again to fit their needs.

This is to Auto Parts Network - say whatever you want, you were wrong in this situation and by looking at some of your other reviews, I am not the only one who has had a BAD experience with your business. 1 star is the least I can give you, but if there was a "0" you would have gotten that. I'm done posting anything past this date, just hope somebody reads this and avoids the headache.

"The picture for the forward exhaust flange gaskets showed two gaskets and two are required. I thought I was buying a set, not just one gasket. Please note that the picture for the rear gasket showed only one gasket and only one is required.

The small print said "suggest buying two", but I missed that when I ordered (I went back and looked again after I received only one forward gasket). I had to get another gasket locally to put the system together.

Recommend changing the picture to show only one gasket and increase the font size for the "Suggest to buy Two"."

"I was looking for a hard to find part and I found it listed on Auto Parts Network website. I was thrilled but just to be sure I called first to verify that the part was really in stock. When I called, they told me, "yes, it is in stock". I asked if they could verify that the part was actually on the shelf in the warehouse and the gentleman asked me to hold on a couple of minutes and he would check. After several minutes he picked the phone back up and confirmed that, "yes, it is really in stock and on the shelf". I placed my online order 2 minutes after I hung up. A couple of days later I got an e-mail saying that the part was not in stock and that my account would be credited. While the credit was very prompt, I was still disappointed to still be searching for my, apparently, rare part. "
