What a poor excuse. If electronic payment causes such incoveniences, it shouldn't be offered. Notice the company doesn't mention anything about their horrible lack of communication. If this was the case, why wouldn't they say so in their reply to me....unprofessional.


By far, this was the worst buying experience ever! I ordered my product november 8. Immediately I received confirmation. After checking my order status a few days later, I read that my order had been reviewed and pulled. That was the last update received. I emailed asking for a delivery time estimate and again received an immediate response advising that my unit would ship within 2 to 3 days. 4 days later, still no tracking. their site also has no update. Still reflecting the pulled status. I again email, no response. sadly their site does not have a number. I finally found their number on my paypal receipt. When I called, thursday, they were closed. I call friday, no ones available to answer. I left a voicemail, til today no call. 24 hrs later im emailed that my items on backorder. So basically if it want for me hounding them , I would have been left waiting. very unprofessional."

"Great on pricing.. ONE PROBLEM, they DO NOT know how to input information. I bought 2 things from them, ordered on wednesday, said it would get here by friday and it would have. BUT they put in the wrong address to get it shipped to me. i called up and spoke to them and they told me to call UPS, so i did and finally got it resolved. When UPS came on monday, they were handing it to me and then realized that they spelled my name wrong and couldnt hand it over. I had to wait another day and finally got it tuesday. I called and told them but they basically said sorry, we make mistakes. I asked if they could simply refund the shipping cost and they said no. First off, I am an avid DIYer and have been buying my staff to different vendors. I rate AutoToys as THE TOP of my favorite vendors. Though it's my first time to order from them, they left a very good impression on me.

It all started during when I planned to install a remote start on my Acura and I saw Richard as one of the mainstays in an Acura forum. It all started from there:

There is this called PRE-SALE discussion where Richard gave me all the details on where to start, stuff what to look for, and the preparation needed to be done. I guess that pre-sale discussion w/ an Autotoy personnel clinched my deal w/ them because it gave me the confidence to tackle a big project like this.

Richard gave me the complete list that eased the ordering process. I'd say that it was a breeze to do it via their website. The thing is there are a couple of bonuses already in the process: FREE SHIPPING and when my order arrived there are additional free stuff included like wire looms, special screws etc. All these lead to a very easy install.

The shipping process is perfect and packaging is top rate: they even included a Tech Sheet and Install Guide (with pics) in the package.

During the install, Richard himself is very accessible and even guided me via a phone call to confirm some certain things.
And after a couple of hours of install all was perfect.

Will I order again from them? Definitely
