"I have two camera bags the first one I will not mention the manufacture and the other my new Lowepro 202. The old bag I had been using for casual shoots. I was reluctant to try a sling bag, thinking that the weight of my D700 and lenses might not be evenly distributed on my back and shoulder. After reading a number of reviews of the Slingshot 202 I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised.
This is the middle of three Slingshot bags. The smaller bag is too small for my equipment; the larger one is too big (the bigger the bag, the more likely you are to fill it with items, and I prefer to travel light.) The Lowepro 202 AW easily holds my D700 with Nikon 28-300 attached, a Nikon 105mm, an SB-800 flash, and the usual collection of small items, such as extra batteries, filters, memory cards, lens cleaners, etc. The sling strap fits comfortably around your neck and left shoulder and is held in place with a second strap and gives you access when you sling it around to the front of your body, that's the beauty of a sling bag: easy access. The weight is comfortably distributed and the shoulder strap around your neck allows you to wear it most of the day, and still comfortable. The back of the bag is heavily padded, as is the shoulder strap.
There is a front pocket and top pocket for additional storage. The front pocket is not deep but you can store a small notebook, cell, pen and other small items there. The top section holds my other small items (batteries, memory card wallet, etc.) and has a net pocket and other space. We recently took a trip to Florida and the Lowepro 202 was strapped on my back which allowed me to use both my hands for luggage. It didn't even shift around, which was another bonus! I truly love this bag and I'm sure you will too... I purchased this bag from AvidMaxOutfitters and will continue to purchase from them.
