"Please don't make the mistake I did of trusting your machine and data to these folks. I paid for a laptop repair (chip reflow) from this company which comes with a warranty. It failed within this period and I was asked to send it back. They then claimed machine is unrepairable (which seems plausible at the time) and their best offer is a refund and giving back to me just the hard drive (since it has data on it), and they keep the rest of the parts which is worth something. So not really a "refund" but more like a sale of a "for parts" machine since I'm still paying for the failed repair. This was agreeable to me since it seems the least fuss and it also seemed at the time they worked in good faith to conduct the repair.
The problem comes when a week later I receiving nothing. I contact them with no reply. I send a more firmly worded msg a few days later which is answered with the usual "check is in the mail" BS and promise to uphold their end of the bargain. I then only receive part of the agreed refund ($70 of 90) and still no drive. At this point I no longer wish to keep playing this game, and I'm beginning to doubt whether my machine is actually unrepairable (since I have no actual evidence of this) given their track record of trustworthiness.
These guys have a grade of F from the BBB. They also have the habit of marking up favorable reviews on google maps and downrating poor ratings, in addition to faking reviews on yahoo.
TL;DR: they steal my machine and only pay part of what was agree to for refund."
