"I called in and purchased an open box poker table a few weeks ago set a delivery date. I tried calling the next week to see if I could move my delivery date so it would arrive a few days earlier and no one picked up the phone. I called the number on their website and left a message and no response. I called the salesman who helped me and no response. I tried for almost 3 full days and no response from anyone at that company. The weirdest part was that no one even picked up a phone in all that time. I've never known a business to not pick up their phone in the middle of the week for 3 days. I finally get a call only to tell me that the poker table I ordered is cracked and the only way I can receive my poker table on time is spend another $300. Under different circumstances, I would have said no thank you and shopped elsewhere. Unfortunately, my lounge was opening soon and I needed the poker table by the time I originally stated so now I was in a pickle. To make matters worse, I had to spend hours on the phone the day of the delivery because there was miscommunication no their part and I almost didn't receive my table on time. Overall, purchasing from this company was super unpleasant and just a headache. At this point, I'll never order anything from them again and I don't recommend anyone else does either unless you like making your life harder. "
"DO NOT accept the packages if there is any damage on them. I received packages that were damaged, and according to bbo, they must be rejected, which I did. After a day bbo contacted me and was "assured by the shipping company that it's just the outside packaging that's damaged." They sent the same packages back and upon opening them the vinyl is ripped and the hard top I ordered has a big gouge in the corner. I emailed customer service to get no reply. They do have a great product, but will not help you at all as soon as they ship it"
"I have been contemplating the purchase of a new poker table from almost two years and finally decided to pull the trigger when they offered a free ShuffleTech card shuffler. I decided on the Rockwell with custom graphics. I finally responded to one of the hundreds of emails I usually got when I tried to put everything in the cart and then visualize what the end idiot would look like and if it was what I was after. I got the normal email from Chip asking if I was ready to purchase and he would answer and questions. This time, I said yes and waited for about an hour before he called. I went over what I was after and got a very condescending attitude from him. I was asking about the process for delivery as they seem to put a very big emphasis on that process and I wanted to make sure I understood it, but Chip downplayed it and indicated it’s no big deal which is contrary to all the videos and information on the BBO site. I placed the order anyways because I liked the look of the table.
About a week after placing the order, I made a small change to the base which delayed it a day. Chip urged me to keep what I had, but I had decided against it and asked if it was an issue. He said it was supposed to get shipped today, but they could make the change and it would delay delivery by 1-3 days, but no big deal there for me as it was more important to get what I wanted. The table actually went out the next day and I will say the delivery process was phenomenal. I was able to track this all the way across the USA. It took 8 days from California to Michigan, which included a holiday weekend. I got a call the day of delivery with a 2 hour window and another call when he was 20 minutes out. Backed the truck up and used a hand fork lift and wheeled it into my garage on a pallet. I inspected the packages and found where three straps had cut into the box and opened them to verify, but these were packaged well and no noticeable damage. The delivery guy thanked me and left without giving me any paperwork not did he ask me for a signature. I was shocked because of all the info I had read on the site.
Now the unboxing and set-up begins. As I mentioned, everything is well packaged. I began with the base and legs. I had watched a video so I was fairly prepped for what to expect. Legs and base went on easy enough as did the center section. Where I was confused is that they had botched out one of the boards that attaches to the base, but no instructions were included. Being fairly handy, I figured that this was done to accommodate the shuffler. So I placed it in a position that I felt would line up with the machine on the underside of the table. Luckily, I was correct, but some guidance would have been helpful here. The bolts went on well and I used my own tools, but they did include some cheap tools that would get the job done if you didn’t have any. Everything went together as expected so far. Now I was ready for the table top. First I will say this is very heavy and two could do it, but four is better. Called over my army and we brought it in and used the packaging material to protect the top while I attached the lease to the underside. This was harder than expected. They have two corners on each side that you line up, but it was very tight. Who ever installed them was off a bit with their measurements, but I was able to manipulate with a rubber mallet which is kind of scary to use on your new poker table. Finally got everything lined up and tightened and flipped the table over. Looks great! Now on to the surface mounted shuffler. No instructions and I finally found more parts inside the table top box. Did I mention no instructions?? I finally determined that the metal rod and hooks hung from the bottom of the table and you tightened that up to press the shuffler to the surface. Once I figured this out it was a fairly Easy job but requires someone on the top to line it up while I tightened it from beneath. After admiring for some time, I was ready to put the soft cover I ordered on, but nowhere to be found. I called BBO and got their voicemail of course and explained in detail about the missing cover and questioned some of the other things to make sure I was accurate. After a few hours of not hearing back, I sent an email to Chip who before had been all over my emails when I was thinking about buying, but was now MIA. Fast forward to today. Still no response from my call or email.
As I mentioned, the table is perfect. Exactly what I wanted and delivered couldn’t have been better. Unfortunately, the customer service does not match up with the other parts of this business. Chip is doing BBO a disservice and will likely cost them money. If your willing to work around the customer service aspect, this is a great looking table. If you can do this without Chip, I would highly recommend. If you have to go through Chip, well it’s a gamble if you catch him on a good day. "
"I’m a bit disappointed with BBO Poker Tables. I bought a custom table and had it delivered and assembled by them. Only to find my shuffler did not fit properly. They tried to remedy but didn’t take ownership of situation and now shuffler catching cards on the rim and the shuffler is screeching. I’m looking forward to see how they resolve this problem to my satisfaction."

Not only was Chip extremely helpful with explaining the product and process but then graciously stored my poker table in the warehouse as a favor when my lake house was not completed on time. Most companies would have forced delivery when the table was built and completed. By the way....product is of high quality and built to last a life time. Extremely Satisfied!"

"I purchased the Helmsley Poker Table which is great looking table with a great playing surface.....but the table top has it's issues. The description states "Solid Wood Dining Top, Legs, and Chairs - Scratch Resistant". I believe the legs may be solid wood but I have a chip on my table top which makes it seem as if is made from some type of laminate material. I have no idea how it even appeared. It looks like a pimple on a table. I wish I could provide pictures with this review. It also has a couple of black markings (which I was able to live with) that look like they were made with a black sharpie marker but this chip is very noticeable. I will be sending this review to customer service and see how they reply to the chip issue. "
"Right from the start they were extremely helpful. Customized the table I wanted in 5 minutes. Delivery went well. It took about 10 minutes to assemble. The table looks great and the dining top is exceptional. If this didn't go in my man cave it would look great in any dining room. Highly recommend using this company. You may find a less expensive table, but not with this type of quality."

"I bought a custom table and chairs. They arrived damaged in multiple places on the table top and the vinyl rail. When I contacted BBO, multiple times, I was told that they would compensate me with a measly $200.00 refund and they would send me a new top. They haven't done either, now over a year later. The product look decent it you can look past the tears in the vinyl, cracked and dented surfaces of the top. I'm very disappointed. "
"We absolutely LOVED our table when we first got it, but after a year the leather around the entire table wore off and now the table is unusable. It’s sad because my husband is an avid poker player and can’t even have his friends over to enjoy his beautiful table. I contacted customer service and they said they can’t find record of me buying it. We are extremely disappointed. It’s a beautiful table that’s unusable."

"I ordered a poker table top for my husband's Christmas gift, but when we ordered it was apparent that the cupholders were cut out, but the leather was placed above the cupholders. I emailed them about the issue, along with pictures and they allowed me the time to give it to my hsuband for Christmas and then work to get things squared away after he was able to open the gift. Emily was the customer service rep that I worked with and she was extremely attentive in answering ALL of my questions. The company quickly built a new table top and sent it to us. Emily was such a great help and did an amazing job in making sure we were satisfied with our purchase and quickly remidied the mistake.
