Poor customer service

"I was hesitant to do business with these people because of all the poor reviews on the better business bureau website and Facebook but I went and gave them a shot anyway fitment specialist that I spoke with is clueless as to the request that I was making he told me that he would contact the manufacturer of the rims I was interested in to make sure that they would fit and he never got back with me I'm thinking because he does not know what he's talkin about I actually know more than he does as far as does Pittman ghost but all is fine I will take my money and business elsewhere"

They will not let you cancel your order

"BB Wheels states that their customers can cancel an order. But they didn't let me. I ordered 2 tires on a Sunday evening. I emailed the customer service dept first thing Monday the next morning and cancelled my order. Then, I called when they opened Mon. at 10am and cancelled it with the customer service representative. She said she would try to take care of it. When I received emails that evening saying the tires were being shipped, I called immediately when they reopened Tuesday and their rep Cassandra told me, it's too late. How could it be too late when I cancelled when they opened the morning after I ordered them? They charge a whopping 25% restocking fee and you pay the return shipping costs. Do not buy from them. They are misleading you the customer. Buyer beware. "

Factory Blemished Wheels - 3 Months and counting and no resolution

"Update - 10/26/21 - 3 months to the day later and still sitting on the same uninstalled, in the box, unmounted blemished rims and a stack of unmounted tires with zero resolution from BB Wheels.

BB Wheels materially misrepresenting blemished products as new and BB Wheels stating that my "expectation of the product and our ability to meet these expectations would not match" in an attempt to wash their hands of the problem. I bought and paid for new and unblemished wheels and I fully expected to get that. This borders on fraud.

On 07/26/21 - $1,607.76 - Purchased 4 Vision Legend 5 142 Wheel 20x8.5 5x127 along with 4 Toyo Proxes St Iii Tire 275/50R20 113W

First the lag, hours and days, in customer service responses or having to chase them down via phone or email is extremely disappointing and frustrating when already dealing with an extremely disappointing and frustrating situation with the product you have received.

When I Received my order the tires were fine. however upon inspecting the wheels - one wheel, although the box was correct contained the wrong wheel, was black and a 6 lug and two wheels had major manufacturing face blemishes/defects. I sent extensive pictures of all wheels. It took two days back and forth with Gabby and then Sara to get RMA. The 3 replacement wheels were shipped plus additional insurance as a courtesy and I was given a verbal guarantee by Sara that all wheels would be visually inspected prior to shipping.

08/03/21 - I boxed up the 3 wheels that were and issue and took to UPS.

08/05/21 - Replacements received. I inspected all 3 wheels. To my dismay the 3 replacement wheels all had major manufacturing face blemishes/defects. It was abundantly clear that boxes were never opened and that the wheels were never inspected (this was confirmed by Sara who also now changed from "will inspect" to "try to inspect"). You would think that given that one wheel form my original order was completely the wrong wheel (spoke, bolt pattern, and color) that someone would have absolutely opened up each box and checked each wheel. Again I sent extensive pictures of each wheel. I spent next two days trying to resolve this again. Apparently the additional "courtesy shipping insurance" was worthless. Instead of helping they want me to return wheels and tires because they "couldn't guarantee that the wheels wouldn't have blemishes/defects on them" and would issue "a full refund within our return policy of not being used, installed, or damaged due to improper packaging". Again the wheels weren't damaged in shipping but all had manufacture blemishes/defects.

Sara also pointed the finger at manufacture as "we (BB Wheels) are only a drop shipper" which is not an acceptable excuse. As a small business owner myself if I am selling something, drop shipped or not, I am the face of that product as the seller and not the manufacture and thus I am solely responsible for representing that product.

Having worked in the automotive industry myself I know that auto parts - such as wheels - with blemishes/defects are know as "blems" and are labeled and sold as such. Selling blems as new is unacceptable and as a buyer putting out money in good faith expecting new product is not unreasonable.

I am now out 5+ days of work & $2400+ in income plus a truck that is going on 11 weeks without wheels & tires having to deal with this whole mess.

So here it is 09/20/21 and I still have 3 out of 4 wheels with blemishes/defects with zero contact back from BB Wheels (Sara) since 08/10/21 as to a mutually agreeable resolution. I still have zero new tires mounted on new wheels (of which three are blemished) and zero new wheels and tires installed on my truck. Not to mention this is having a 100% impact on my business I do a sole proprietor small business owner as well as impacting my other responsibility as a single parent of a child with a disability. And the solution is so simple - just have three visually inspected wheels free of blemishes/defects exchanged for three I have and the whole problem is solved.

POOR QUALITY AND WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE

"Purchased a set of New Wheels and Hub Rings from BBWheels. $1500
(2) out of the wheels came in out of round. Clearly visible on the balancer, back of rim would jump up and down as it spun. Called and emailed BBWheels customer service and sales, Each time they would not provide assistance other than provide "Manufacturers Warranty Information" And would expect me to remove the wheels from vehicle, dismount the tires and ship wheels in for a 30 to 45 day lasting "Warranty Inspection" Tried balancing the wheels numerous times, still vibrating. BBWheels would not assist with either repair or re-balance or replacement costs. Its all on you.

Horrible! Horrible! HORRIBLE!

"I would give zero stars if I could. After talking with their “fitment team” to ensure everything was a right fit they sent the wrong hub rings, wrong lug bolts and one of the wheels is defective/bent. After jumping through all their hoops they still won’t send a replacement wheel for their junk one they sent me. Do not do business with these clowns. Review after review says the same thing, bent wheels and they won’t make it good. Reporting to the BBB. "

"****! Is the word that comes to mind for their customer service. I ordered parts in mid August and a week later nothing had been shipped, so I called but left on hold and left voice messages and then emailed an inquiry. They replied with checking with warehouse and then a message from them that one item is back ordered at manufacturer, I said please ship other items in the meantime, so they did and I requested cancelation of the back ordered item. I received the other items, but no cancelation of back ordered item. Ithen requested another cancelation of the back ordered item. Suddenly a week later the back ordered item shipped and I let them know and that its seems to be to late to cancel now that it had shipped, no reply.... I then requested to return the item after it was delivered, but crickets..... So I called Monday and hung on hold for a half hour, then talked to customer service about this ordeal and would like to return item, they sent me to another agent that was corresponding with me and they said they seen my email that morning and said they'd accept the return, so they sent me back to customer service. I was then told they'd email me an RA. Wednesday, I still hadn't received a email with the RA, so I called. I was on hold for half an hour, then answered. Customer Service claimed no record of me calling on Monday.... and they'd send me an RA, but I'd be responsible for paying the return shipping and there'll be a 20% restock fee. I said that was crap, and they should stand up and be responsible for this as they didn't cancel the back ordered item as requested and let it ship. So, its Friday and here we sit with an item that's unusable, as when receiving it I found out it was the wrong model# too. Plus in the meantime while requesting the cancelation of the back ordered item I found the item at another distributor and was available to ship immediately."

Sent me the wrong tire, and now I have to pay for it.

"BB wheels sent me the wrong tire. They refused to send the right tire until I sent them the original tire for "inspection". They also refused to make up for their error in anyway, through compensation, coupon or otherwise. People make mistakes, but your customers should never have to pay for them. They were dismissive over the phone and represents one of the worse customer service experiences i have ever had."

"Purchased wheels online on a Saturday, called them Monday morning to confirm payment and shipping address. The lady was very courtious and knowledgeable about the purchase. The wheels quickly arrived 2 days later in perfect condition. Will definitely purchase with them again."

Horrible business to work with , terrible customer service

"I bought a set of rims from BB wheels, the item they sent me was not the item that I ordered. I called the business, they were very rude to me. They told me that I would have to ship the items back out of my own pocket. We are talking well over $200.00 to ship them back. I told them the product that I received was not what I ordered. They also told me Id be charged a 15% restocking fee. This business took zero responsibility for their own mistake. They refused to stand by their business, and did not make any attempt to correct their mistake. Now I am stuck with a product that I did not want. I did not order what they sent me, and now I am out $587.80. This business should not be allowed to conduct business. Sending items that people do not order and then tell them they have to pay for their businesses mistake is wrong, and Buyer beware, dont give this business your money. Now I am stuck with 4 ugly rims that I did not order. "

Worst experience ever

"Hello, I have ordered a set of wheels for my truck from bbwheelsonline . I went into their website, searched my vehicle, picked a set of rims that came up under my vehicle, ordered the wheels, had to put my vehicle info in again for the 2nd time at checkout. The following day a gentleman called me and asked me for the 3rd time what my vehicle info was and I told him and he replied, "Ok All looks good". I then was asked to change the shipping address from my house address to a business address, so I gave them the shops address that would install them. So the install shop received the wheels and already had the tires installed and ready for me to bring the truck and have them installed. Well unfortunately when I got to the shop to have them put on, the wheels did not fit. So I then contacted the company, they said they would be willing to return them at a cost because bbwheels sent the wrong bolt pattern, the shop mounted the tires before I got there, so now bbwheels is saying they are used. Well after a very long talk I agreed to pay the money to return them. They then decided on their own free will, that they will just send me wheel adapters to make the wheels fit onto my vehicle.(I NEVER AGREED TO WHEEL ADAPTERS). I have been waiting almost 2+ months now for them to finish helping me out because they have been ducking and dodging my phone calls. So as of now I am paying for $7,000 wheels that do not fit my vehicle and now it is to the point the company is ignoring my calls. If the company would have sent the correct wheels, or if their website would have pointed me to the correct wheels, or if the gentlemen that called me and verified my vehicle could have pointed me in the correct direction, or they could have done some real customer service and owned up to a mishap and corrected the issue the way the customer asked and made the customer happy. But instead I am now paying for $7,000 wheels I can not use on my vehicle."

Cheap wheels for a cheap price

"I found a good deal on a set of wheels, only to discover them to weigh twice as much as the wheels I currently own. I assumed they would weigh as much as a normal set for their size (22lbs), but they scaled in at 33lbs each. There was no weight listed in the description, which they later used to blame me ("As you mentioned, we did not give you any indication or promise of an exact weight nor were you desires communicated to us before ordering. ") and slapped me with their default 15% "restocking fee" and shipping costs. I would recommend avoiding their cheap wheels, deceptive policy, and lawyer-talk if you are new to buying wheels."
