"I have heard rumors of this place before, but wasn't sure what to think. I turns out the rumors were pretty accurate. It seems the lady doing sales (in the front of the store) is very ignorante about products, and has a bit of an attitute. The technician (who never leaves the back room and seems to be the husband of the lady doing sales), seems to always be stressed and has a condisending tone when he addresses customers.
They sold me a copy of WindowsXP Home. The way they presented it, I thought it was a retail copy.
It turns out that it was an OEM and I couldn't get any support for it. I called Microsoft for assistance on installing the operating system, and then they told what was up with the copy I bought. Microsoft asked me where I bought it and told me that BCU Computers had committed a form of piracy.
If this is the way they do business, I will never go back again, it is one thing to be mistaken about something, a totally different thing to pretend you are selling one thing and give the customer something else all together. I should have figured there was something up when they only charged me half the price of a ligitimate retail copy."
