"Was looking to buy a smaller tripod for road trips. Been researching for a few years but the cost of the Gitzo tripods were expensive. I own several Gitzo tripods and they are well made, but heavy. They have lasted for 40 plus years of heavy use. When I viewed B&H"s specials on the 50th anniversary models I decided to make the leap.
