Do not pre order, they take your money and you never see the goods

"I have no idea how a company like this one is permitted to operate in Australia. Online pre ordered for a Baby Bassinet in January and even after several emails I am still to receive the goods or even the shipping details. This is despite emails from this company apologizing for the delay and assuring me that the goods have been packed and will be sent by post within a few days (that was 14 days ago). Since then I have sent several emails and guess what - no response. I have now lodged a Transaction dispute through my bank to recover the funds. They should be ashamed by the amount of negative reviews on the internet regarding this type of behavior , it is unscrupulous and fraudulent. I hope this review helps other people in avoiding a very unpleasant experience."

Don't buy from them, this company is a scammers!

"I have contacted fair trading, this company is a scam! I didn't receive the item I ordered and when I asked to get my refund the owner said he put the money back to my band account but he lied, I contacted him multiple times and he was keep lying to me that money will be back to my bank account. "

Shocking this company exists

"I’m to angry to even go into detail. They don’t respond to emails or calls. I managed to get a response from the facebook chat but told lies and delivery over and over. Waiting 4 months for my pram to be delivered. Very stressful and not worth the time chasing them up. I can’t imagine a refund will be easy, $800 wasted. Hoping to contact my bank. They should not be running a business, scammers. Great way to get a “loan” without paying interest as they do not deliver the goods. "

Do not buy from them

"Ridiculous service from the store. The item was promised to be delivered in 3-7 business days. It’s been nearly a month and still no update. Every time you call they keep saying it will be delivered soon.
Please do not trust this store and DO NOT buy. It’s a complete waste of time and money

HORRID.

"DO NOT BUY FROM BABY DIRECT. I ordered a Cocoon furniture set of Cot & Drawer/Change Table and waited months for delivery, after multiple contacts to follow up. The items were eventually delivered with drawer unit damaged. I contacted Baby Direct with photo's and requested a replacement sent. I've been waiting another 2 months. They have stopped answering my phone calls, do not reply to emails and their contact point of preference Facebook Messenger they barely respond to. Have promised multiple times it is being sent - and then it does not happen. Consistently dodgy, lying and just terrible customer service. I feel incredibly let down and dissapointed with this experience. They are as shonky as it gets. "

Dodgy scammers ..avoid!

"Warning...Do not shop online with this company. I thought as they had a physical store they'd be trustworthy. ! Should have read the reviews first. Unless you love chasing up your item that has not been sent multiple times with zero response, and then having to demand a refund...shop elsewhere and avoid avoid avoid. Item was never in stock in the first place and I do not believe they had any intention of filling my order. Waste of time. "

SCAMMING CRIMINALS DO NOT BUY FROM BABY DIRECT AU

"I AM AT MY ABSOLUTE WITS END. I HAVE A 3.5 MONTH OLD BABY AND NO CHANGE TABLE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING 113 DAYS FOR MY CHANGE TABLE TO ARRIVE, WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EFFORTS MADE ON BABY DIRECTS HALF TO PROVIDE ME WITH SHIPPING OR DELIVERY UPDATES. AFTER CONTACTING THE SUPPLIER OF THE CHANGE TABLE (INCY INTERIORS) I CAME TO LEARN THEY HAD DISPATCHED JULY'S STOCK, AND THAT THE NEXT SHIPMENT WOULDNT BE RECEIVED BY STOCKISTS UNTIL OCTOBER 2022. UPON FINDING THIS INFORMATION OUT I REQUESTED AN IMMEDIATE REFUND FROM BABY DIRECT. I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY OR REMITTANCE OF ANY KIND. IT HAS BEEN 13 BUSINESS DAYS SINCE THEY "CANCELLED" MY ORDER. BABY DIRECT CLAIM TO REQUIRE 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR REFUNDS TO BE PROCESSED IN, AND NOW THAT THE TIMELINE EXCEEDS THAT THEY ARE BLAMING THEIR ACCOUNTS TEAM. THE IDIOT I HAVE BEEN SPEAKING TO VIA 1300 559 808 FOR THE LAST 3 NEARLY 4 MONTHS, SPINS A DIFFERENT STORY EVERY TIME I CALL HIM. HE IS A PROFESSIONAL LIAR. HE "OBLIGING" AND APOLOGETIC WITH NO INTENTION OF FOLLOWING THROUGH. I'M SUPRISED THEY EVEN ANSWER THEIR PHONES! THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH NO INTENTION OF PROVIDING THE GOODS. THE LATEST EXCUSE IS THAT HIS ACCOUNTS TEAM NEED TO PROIDE REMITTANCE, BUT "THEY ONLY WORK WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS". HE RECKONS I WILL HAVE REMITTANCE BY 6PM TONIGHT, BUT I KNOW I WONT. I HAVE REPORTED THIS CRIMINAL OPERATION TO ACCC AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS VICTORIA. I WILL ALSO BE CONTACTING INCY INTERIORS TOMORROW TO STRONGLY ADVISE THEY DROP BABY DIRECT AS A STOCKIST DUE TO THEIR ILL-OPERATION. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR. Never use this store- EVER

"When you have paid your money the goods are never sent and you never ever hear from the store ever again.
And it gets worse….
When you contact the store to ask about where your goods are you will find making contact is useless. Your emails will be unanswered, your phone calls ignored, you will be treated as a PEST!
NO ONE at the shop does anything to get your goods sent. You will be given lots and lots and lots of excuses with no apologies for keeping your money.
This business must be closed down. Using expectant parents as bait for their cash flow is one of the lowest forms of business ethics.It’s disgusting.
Keep away from this business and tell EVERYONE you know to shop elsewhere.
You will be saved a lot of heartache.

Absolutely DISGUSTING store/company

"I wish I could give this company 0 stars.
Ordered a cot and mattress on the 16th of august 2021. Was advised that it would take approx 2-4 weeks. Living in Sydney we gave the delivery an extra week with the circumstances at the moment. We hadn’t heard a single thing 5 weeks prior to ordering the cot, so I went out of my way to contact the company to chase my order. We were advised that the item was ‘ready to be shipped’ and they were waiting on the courier company to pick the item up. 6 weeks went by, still no tracking or shipping confirmation. Again, went out of my way to chase this up and at 36 weeks pregnant by then it was the last thing I wanted to worry about. Could not get in contact via email as no one was responding & contacting by phone was also very hit and miss.
I then requested for them to follow up my order, 4 days after my request I had to ring back as no one called me back with a follow up. Finally getting a hold of baby direct, they told me that the item had been sent to the wrong address and that the courier company could not send the item to my initial address (which I correctly put on the shipping information with baby direct) until a payment from baby direct was made for the redirection. A few days went by and I had heard nothing, so I requested a refund and told baby direct to organise for the cot to be sent back to them as we had waited far too long and could purchase the cot from a local store with pick option available the next day. We were told we would receive a refund within 3-5 business days, a week went by and we had received or heard nothing. Within that week of waiting for a refund, the cot that we cancelled, turned up on our door step!!! 8 weeks after ordering it. We rejected the item and called up baby direct immediately. After finally getting a hold of them, we asked where our refund was and why the cot turned up at our house?! We then received a response from this gentleman asking why we rejected the item?! We had to them remind him of all the phone calls and emails that were going back and forth weeks prior to this conversation requesting a refund and baby direct agreeing on the refund. I was then told that we could not receive a refund until baby direct new that the cot was on the way back to them. So this company was holding our money until THEY were satisfied. I spoke to Victoria consumer affairs and they suggested to open a case against baby direct (another time waster at now at 38 weeks pregnant it was the last thing I wanted to do)
We FINALLY got an email, after a million phone calls, messages later stating that we would receive a refund. 8.5 WEEKS AFTER ORDERING THE COT!!!! If we initially didn’t chase the cot up after waiting 5 weeks we wouldn’t still be sitting here with no one contacting us or tracking number or anything.
We had to do ALL the hard work!
Absolutely DISGUSTING company to deal with and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am a very reasonable person but waiting 8.5 weeks for an item that was ordered way ahead of due date and having it being sent to a different address due to baby direct not taking caution in double and triple checking where they are sending their items too.
I wish I could shut this company down. They do not deserve to run a store like this, maybe should move to running a fish market or something. A baby/kids/nursery store with management like this is scary.
I beg anyone to please not shop here unless you want a HUGE amount of disappointment and stress added to your lives.
This company needs to be investigated and probably audited because I can guarantee there is some dodgy things going on within the store.
I will not be recommending this company to ANYONE.
As good as a fish sandwich in the sun.

REVOLTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

"DO NOT EVER SHOP HERE!
I purchased a $700 electric car on the 2nd Sept for my son’s birthday which is on the 17th. I contacted the store to make sure it was in stock and ready to be sent out. They confirmed and I placed the order! A week later, after not hearing from them I contacted them again to see why others shipping was delayed. 2 days later (9 days after purchase) they wrote back, after I emailed again expressing how upset I was that they haven’t even written back to me, saying that my order wasn’t sent because their online calculator miscalculated the shipping and that I owe them another $67! I literally had to chase them up 9 days after purchase for them to tell me I owe them another $67 on top of the $700 I paid! I said forget it and that I wanted a refund because I was going to buy it from someone else! Not only did they not contact me initially to let me know (which I would have happily paid if they contacted me the following day, as I know mistakes happen) but now it was the 11th September and my son’s birthday was 6 days away not even leaving me with enough time to order it from somewhere else to get it in time for his birthday! They then agreed to the refund and said they would send the remittance through once it was processed! That was almost two weeks ago now and the money is still not in my account and they have stopped responding back to my emails. I have had to contact my back to cancel the charge and have also reported them to the ACCC and will be calling the Industry Ombusman tomorrow!

Absolutely appalling! I repurchased the car from another place so have now spend $1400 and have had to get extra presents for my son to give to him on his actual birthday! I specifically chose a small business company to purchase from initially as I knew they were in lockdown and wanted to support them but when a company treats its customers like this, they don’t deserve to stay open! I am praying I can retrieve my $700!!!

Worth Trying Store for Baby Products

"Just one word for this store, outstanding. I was looking for the baby monitor for my little prince and I got one from this online store. It was delivered to me on time in a very decent packaging. After started using it I felt that this is the monitor I was looking for. I bought it for very reasonable rate. Also their customer staff was very helpful for setting up it. Overall very good product by good store with great customer service."

"I believe I've ordered from the before with no problem...but this time, I am very frustated. They don't return calls, don't email, they don't even know what order they're looking at when you do talk to them. I am very disappointed in their customer service.
