"I received a gift from my sister-in-law for my birthday, back in August. My gift came and the retailer sent two sweaters instead of one, in the same package.
I called them after I received the gift. They asked me send the other one back, and I said I would be happy to and for them to send me a call tag for shipping. That CSR said she would. A couple of weeks came and went, my sister in law called me and said they had charged her twice. I called again and spoke with another CRS, who said no problem, we will credit her back and you can keep the other sweater.
Fast forward a few weeks and my sister in law still has not received her credit. She calls Back in the Saddle, they tell her that I have to return the sweater and then will credit her. I call them back again and say i will send the item back if they mail me a UPS or Fed Ex call tag. The CSR said they do not do that. I said why should i have to pay shipping for a gift i received for my birthday, when it was their fault? She said well that is true, i will speak with my superviser. She came back on the line and said, we will credit her account and please keep the sweater. Again, a couple weeks go by and no refund. I call again and speak with Sari, she said ship the sweater back and we will credit your sister in law for the shipping. Again, i said why should i have to pay for your mistake, you sent me two sweaters, it was your fault. At that point I asked her for the name and number of a customer service executive, she said we do not give out that information. I said who owns the company and again she said we don’t give out that information. Then I asked to speak to her supervisor. Her Supervisor said her name was Angie and she would take care of the problem, but my sister in law had to call because she is the credit card holder. She also guaranteed me that she would refund her money.
I gave that info to my sister in law and she called them today. Again, she was told to ship back the item and they would reimburse her for the item and the shipping cost. So now, I have to ship the sweater back to my sister in law so she can ship it to the company. I have never in my life, been so upset or lied to by a company in my life.
I took time to read reviews from the this company, and most of the reviews I read, were very similar to mine. They received a whopping 1 star for 45 reviews. I have no clue how Back in the Saddle, can stay in business, with no business ethics whatsoever. I will also report them to the Better Business Bureau. "
