"They used to have great shipping times and you got what you ordered in a timely manner even with back ordered product but as of this year it's gone way down hill. Ordered 6 Wireless wire nray kits on May 6 2024 they showed in stock and the invoice did not show it was a backordered order. today is november 7th 2024 and we still have not received the units. We have purchased about 10x that from other retailers since then this is probably the last order i will ever place with baltic networks."
"I just ordered a hard to find switch from them that others are price gouging for or is out of stock. Baltic's price was good and they shipped the switch immediately. From order to doorstep took two days. The switch was well packed and works great. I had never heard of Baltic before but I took a chance because this was a hard to find item. I had a very positive experience and won't hesitate to shop there again."
"Three times i ordered from them using Paypal and three times my orders were cancelled..i usually use Paypal when i do not know the supplier so i can be assured. Why do they have to put Paypal as a choice of payment when eventually they will cancel it? Anyway, i probably should remove my account with them."
"GlassesUSA (****?) not very response to customer service needs... they tend to ignore compliants about orders never received but charged for. I have been a
"longtime" customer but no more... as they do not value repeating customer base.. which defines their business model like third-world "slash and burn agriculture." IE.. "harvest a crop (sale0 and move on." "
"Look elsewhere... you've been warned. I buy stuff almost daily online. I've never had an issue like this before. Joanna, the sales rep, kept asking for private information after I had already placed my order and refused to fulfill it until I provided her the info. I ordered an activation code and she kept saying that she needed private information because "shipping carriers" require it. This was after she had already confirmed that the code would be emailed to me. It was an attempt to get me to buy more expensive equipment that I did not need. I'm glad we discovered this flaw with a $200 purchase instead of $20k purchase."
"When I first started this process, I saw Baltics web form. I hate web forms. I have found them to be worthless ways to communicate. They never work. I filled out three web forms and sent two emails the night I started this journey. Baltic , was the only one out of six that responded. Thank you! I ordered the router that was recommended and after I watched a couple of videos was scared to death. I am not a networking person. They were there to answer my questions and help following the purchase. I also stumbled upon another video. He used the KISS method and that is all I really needed. My router is up and working great! "
"I was surprised to see how low the Reseller Ratings score was for Baltic Networks. I've been ordering from them on occasion for a couple years, and haven't had an issue. My only complaint is that some of the networking products I order tend to go out of stock with a fair amount of frequency. But when they are in stock, the prices are reasonable, and tend to be a few bucks lower than other vendors."
"Baltic Networks are the worst. They have fast shipping options but when you elect this very expensive option, your order gets flagged for CC verification. The only notice of this happens through email very late in the day so that any recourse from you must happen within 30 min or risk missing the shipping window. I've missed this window twice because of this arbitrary CC verification.
Note, my credit card never gets flagged anywhere else. I believe this is a tool they use to disguise their organizational mistakes and place the onus on us the customer.
There are plenty of other networking resellers, my advice is to stay away from baltic networks. "
"These guys are great! They always ship my stuff quickly, and if there is ever a delay they let me know right away with an email or phone call. They have very competitive prices. Their cost of shipping is usually lower then any of my other vendors. There web site is always accurate with their current in stock items. And their web site is really easy to use. "
"This has to be the best place to order wireless gear and related network supplies. They keep more stock on hand than most. They seem to consistently ship same day. The website shows pricing and AVAILABILITY!!!!! This is a big thing to us,most don't do this. Shipping rates have been very fair and automatically combined by the staff when i have placed more than one order in a day. Thanks again!!!

"Good website, good organization of products. It is a one stop shop for all if our needs. Good cable. Will most definitely be purchasing from Baltic again."
"Very pleased with this vendor."
" In contrast to some previous reviewers, I would never use Baltic Networks as my supplier. I have been impressed with their unresponsiveness, their eagerness to avoid solving problems, and their ignorance of products they sell.
Dealing with Baltic Networks is a gamble and it will aways be. I bought a couple of Microtic boards from them and both had problems. Below is my correspondence with someone who seems to be the company's co-owner or owner's relative.

We received your request from an RMA. Unfortunately, we will not be issuing the RMA as we do not believe that the units shipped out to you are defective and therefore would not be covered under the repair or replacement policy. Both units had been shipped to you as COMPLETE, which means that they are assembled and tested by our assembly team before they are shipped out. The units tested OK prior to shipment. Further, it is highly unlikely that you would receive your entire shipment as defective, the defect rates on the MikroTik products are too low to warrant such an occurrence. We advise you to work with MikroTik to trouble shoot the issues that you are experiencing.

[ME] - it seems to me that you are overstating the facts.
As far as I know, serial ports, which are dysfunctional on both units, were not tested prior to shipment. I also noticed that, out of the box, the RB450G unit had 2 screws missing on its front panel. It is clear to me that your assembly and test standards are not thorough enough to support your claims of quality.
Besides, prior to contacting Baltic Networks, I checked out manufacturer website and their support pages. They clearly state that end-users should seek support primarily from distributors / retailers. Manufacturer support is on paid (!!!!) basis and suitable only for large volume buyers.
Please, suggest another option or reconsider your decision. Keep in mind that RB450 is dysfunctional and I can neither reset it nor even update firmware.

I am not sure what screws you are referring to, the enclosure screws? Again, all units are tested to a double beep and we ensure that all serial ports lightup prior to boxing and putting on the shelf as finished product. It is our testing protocol and we don’t deviate from it.
We, as a distributor, exercise judgment when issuing authorization for returns and replacements. We find it highly unlikely that the entire shipment was defective and due to this reason we anticipate that the units either sustained damage or are malfunctioning due to user error. Thanks.

Well - both units double beep and ports light up.
But, as you may guess, this is not their primary function. They are supposed to be network routers with a serial port for low-level access to internal configuration.
And they do not perform their function !!!
Per manufacturer instructions, I called you for support
and Rick suggested me to request an RMA, which you now
refuse to issue.
Through RMA or not, I need to obtain functional network
routers advertised on your web site for sale.
How do YOU suggest me to proceed?

"Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered some equipment and received an email confirmation of my order. Never got a followup email with tracking information, so I sent an email to their customer service asking if they could provide tracking information. Instead of getting an answer, I get a screen shot image that shows in their system they canceled my order without notification.
I replied back, and the "sales manager" had an attitude, after I said I would be taking my business elsewhere I was told "I doubt that you will have much luck doing eCommerce anywhere in the Internet" and "It is for the best that you take your business elsewhere, we cannot service you at Baltic Networks"
What a joke."
"I purchased a mikrotik from Baltic Networks. Because it would cost me 3X ($20vs$60) the amount to send it to Afghanistan (where I'm serving)as to send it to my house and have my wife send it to me, it took me almost 2 months to get it. When I did get it, the product did not work. When I plugged it in, nothing happened, no lights, no beeps, no noise. (I was able to compare it to other mikrotiks.) They were responsive about getting it fixed, although at first it seemed that they didn't believe me. So I send it back. A month later my wife gets one back. After all this, I no longer need the product. Baltic Networks does not have a monetary refund program. I am seriously upset that I can't get my money back for a product I no longer need. They say it's custom built. I don't understand that, I didn't ask for anything special. All they did to assemble it was put four screws in a case to hold a circuit board in place?? So now I have to see if I can even sell the thing. I'm also upset that I had to pay for shipping to my house, shipping here, shipping back to the company, and then shipping back to here if I want the thing. I understand the initial shipping costs, but just another example of me getting shortchanged. If I can't sell it, I'm out over $160 between the price of the product and all the shipping charges. So my advice is to make sure you really have to have a product from them and never plan on returning it. Otherwise, buy somewhere else so you can get a refund if you want."
