"Customer service and tech support is absolutely horrible. The plane I bought came with a defective radio and receiver and it looks like it will take about a month to get a replacement between shipping time, and the 10-15 days they say it takes to evaluate the defective part. I bought this plane for my kids and they are pretty upset. You would think since they sent me defective mechandise they would try to resolve the matter quickly. Guess not. I will not be buying any more planes from Banana Hobby "
"banana hobby realy sucks

for return SH to mail it back .nice "
"They have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. You'd think these people were in China or India, but no, they are in California, giving California businesses a horrible reputation. They don't return calls, they don't have management, you can only get an RMA after three months and getting your credit card company involved. They have no idea of how to appease their customers and promote return buyers."
"Don't waste your time or money ordering from Banana Hobby. I ordered a helicopter for my hubby for father's day and it has been such a let down and hassle. The helicopter doesn't work and the run around they have given us to return the thing is insane. Going on over a week now trying to get an RMA from them to return the dumb thing. They sent me an email last night stating that there may be a 25% restocking fee on a helicopter that doesn't work!! I don't think so. Horrible customer service. They are a joke."
"
I just receive my parts for my mini p-40 warhawk, shipping was great, parts were well packaged,AWESOME JOB,AWESOME COMPANY"
"No customer service! 48 hour response time is bull! It's been 2 weeks and no response. Was going to purchase 2 more helicopters from them but not now. Marketing is great and I'll admit fast shipping but after first sales they don't want anything to do with you. Update 6/21/2012 Changing my rating. They contacted me 4 days after my last request and today are sending out a new transmitter. Because of this I ordered another Copter from them. The person in Customer Service (Corisa)was very nice "
"VERY VERY bad support! First there was missing a part of one plane, which they immediatly send to me. But since months i'm trying to get an exchange for an broken thrust vector servo. First they send a wrong one and now they keep asking me for pictures of the servo, which I send more than 3 times to them. From 2 ordered planes there are 1 servo in each plane broken! ( and I try only to get 1 of the 2 broken servos replaced - 2 replacements seems unimpossible there!). In this 8 month of support they closed the only chance of a little working support: their online support is not available anylonger, because of to much request......no good business plan!
A lot of support request via their webpage are not answered. around every third or 4th request is answered! You get no copy of your webportal support request, so u never know if sending of the support request were successful. The given number on their webpage is not a correct international number, so I can not call them.
Never again! I'll try the best to prevent my friends of ordering there! I really start to fear to fly the big plane. I suppose there will be more chinese technics surprises. "
"I just got my f22W wed the 23 at 11pm I was very happy with the speedy arrival. As I looked at the plane I was very happy and could not wait to fly it so I did what I was asked to do from banana hoddy and check the electronics. They would not work the reciever will not bind the reciever will blink when I plug in the binding wire the light stays on unplug nothing I have been every where looking for a fix. This is not what upset me as I did what was asked of me I called Hb and talked to some one they took my report on wed it now sat and I was told 48 hours no longer. My anger is building up. Look I know ppl are biz and can't jump up and run to help. But I know my equipment is messed up. I don't want to here a week later or a month I was told 48 hours. I will be looking in to more options. If Bh does right by me I will continue my biz with them. So Bailey if your going to help me send me the fix. As a custome service adviser I know what my rights are. My point is simple and clear send me the fix or replace this plane no jacking around."
"I just recieved a AMS Trojan T-28 trainer. It arrived in one day as expedted. After reading many negitive reviews I was very worried about ordering from them. I want the plane so I took a chance. Everything is working great and I am very happy with my experiance. I will know how it flys tomorrow."
"I just picked up my new Eurocopter the BlitzRcWorks Air Zermatt EC-135 Giant coaxeil 4 channel helicopter today at the post office. It arrived from California to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 6 days with a long weekend included in its shipping time. I had no trouble tracking the product through the USPS website via the tracking number provided me by Banana Hobby. It arrived in good order with no visible damage to the outer shipping box.
I unboxed it about an hour later at home, I found the inside box to be in good order, after unpacking everything and getting the manuals and attention slips out and reading them all VERY thoroughly I was able to then determine all the parts, battery, transmitter and the helicopter itself were provided as advertised with nothing missing and all were in excellent condition and totally band new.
I then charged the main LiPo battery for the first time on the 1 Amp setting and it was fully charged in a little over an hour. The charger, wall adaptor and battery all worked perfectly and showed no signs of overheating
I took the time that the battery was charging to thoroughly inspect the helicopter, I found no obvious defects, using a small Phillips head screw driver I made sure all the screws on the rotor head and blade mountings were tight, I had to tighten a few of them but generally most had the correct tourque on them.
Using the supplied Allan Key I adjusted the tension on the blade mounts that they would still move with centrifical force to a strait outward alignment but would also allow the blade to fold in if it struck any foreign object. I also checked the blade seperation between upper and lower to be sure they were parallel to each other and only would give an inch with light downward or upward pressure put on the blade, the seperation and the tension is excellent and would not easily suffer from any blade slap.
I then installed the transmitter battery's (8 AA's) powered it up, the green light came on and I shut it off right away as it was working just fine.
After the battery was fully charged I installed the main power battery in the helicopter and snap locked down the provided battery holding case into the bottom of the helicopter.
Turning on the transmitter I checked that the green light was on, then plugged in the main power LiPo battery into the power plug provided on the helicopter. I then let it sit for 45 to 60 seconds for the gyro system to become aligned.
The flashing anti collision light on the tail was working great (Nice touch, BTW) and the red light seen to shine through the leftside fuselage body went out indicating the model was now aligned, calibrated and ready to fly.
I decided to do a power run-up to about 1/3 throttle, the speed control provided very good response and was very easy to run at very slow speeds up to my determined test speed with no cutouts and with very smooth throttle response.
Powering down after 30 seconds I then let the motors cool with the main battery disconnected and transmitter turned off. I inspected the helicopter again and everything was tight and no overheating could be detected.
After 10 minutes I turned on the transmitter again, and plugged in the main battery to the helicopter again. Now I powered it up enough to make it just light on the skids and tested all the control inputs they were quick, positive, and easy to control with the sticks on the transmitter, just allowing it to taxi or slide on the ground barely touching but not lifting right off the ground I adjusted my trims, the trim adjustments were positive, responsive and easily adjusted. Once all trimmed out I added more power just enough to lift about 3 inches off the ground and did rotations using only rudder control then I set her gently back on the ground it hovered very well and was crisp and forgiving to my control inputs.
Note: I did not have to make adjustments to the ESC, Reciver, nor did I need to Bind the Transmitter and Reciver frequencys, everything was setup and worked strait out of the box. From the time I unboxed it charged the main battery, read all the litature inspected the helicopter and familiarized myself with the transmitter to the time it made its first lift off was only 2 hours, I'd have to say that it is a RTF Aircraft out of the box. The instruction manuals are all quite adequate, easy to understand and properly illistrated.
In summation I give Banana Hobby credit where credit is due, I'm very happy with my purchase and every step of the process was to my ultimate satisfaction.
Thank You Banana Hobby, I am very pleased indeed and will not hesitate to order from you in the future again...
UPDATE:
I have the new Banana Hobby BlitzRcWorks Giant EC-135 Helicopter all tuned up and it's first official flight was at 21:00 yesterday it flies very stable, and I like stable.... its easy to control and flys very nicely. I did change out the BlitzRcWorks provided 11.1 volt 1600 ma LiPo battery for a better quality 11.1 volt 1800 ma battery from the local hobby shop and I get about 20 mins running time.
I have to make a small adjustment to the potentiometer and that ought to do it for the setup and testing. I have training wheels on it now so I don't ding it's blades, someday I'll be able to ride two wheeled like the big helicopter kids do.

"This place is HORRIBLE. Sure the videos are great but I will tell you that there customer service is certainly lacking.
I bought a small mig from them- my first real plane purchase. When checking out they offer all these added option you can buy (extra battery, wall charger, etc..) EXCEPT- they do not offer a remote and chances are the extra parts will not be for your plane.
I surely don't need a batter that is double the size of my battery compartment!
I've emailed them several times and they simply email back a link saying (this is what you need). They do not give any attention to the fact that they originally sent me the wrong plane.
IN FACT, I hooked up the battery and it started to smoke- still no reply from their email department.
Watch the videos, GO ELSEWHERE is my advise"
"This is the biggest piece of Garbage you will ever spend your money on!!! And you will feel disappointed!! I ordered an RC helicopter from them about a year ago. First time I tried to fly it, it flied 1 meter above the ground and crushed immediately! WHY? Because the motor completed ruined the gear system! all the gear teeth were broken. Alright... I spoke to them, and requested new parts. THREE months after I received the parts and repaired the helicopter. Because of this incident I was afraid to fly the helicopter again. Today I decided to try to fly it again. Guess what.... Same thing happened again!! I was sooooo disappointed!!!! Unbelivable! Their products are SCAM!!! Crapy design! cheap parts! and Crapy service!! If I could, I would rate their company 0/5."
"Ordered two Double Horse 9116 one for me and one for the kid got both fairly quick, then when we got them charged up one transmitter "remote" was non working emailed them all this week and no reply's nothing, I suggest you find a better company to deal with and save yourself a headache, this sucks because i like the rouge 3d helicopter he was gonna be selling at the end of June but i guess he lost out one a $750+ sale...
Update: I finally got a email today go figure working with them to get a new TX if they make me happy i will edit my review on them."
"received my order in about a month, delivery speed is not very good but I love my toy. The processing is slow but overall experience is fine. I just hope it will be faster next time :)"
"Purchased super P-51 Red Tail Mustang. Sent in a question about the plane and received an answer in two days. Ordered the product and it shipped within two days, received in North Carolina five days later. Used the 'Springflying' code and saved $50 in shipping. Opened box on May 7th, everything was in perfect condition. Beautiful airplane, great detail. Very happy with BH. Was worried after reading many reviews. Gave them a shot. Happy with the results."
