"Had my order canceled 5 days before it was supposed to arrive. No explanation as to why. No response at all from customer service. Shame on Sears or any company that affiliates with this abominable company."
"This company is very unprofessional. They shipped my radio to a different address than was given them. After mis-shipping the radio they would not make the purchase good.
One of the responses were:
"Sorry but the money came in from paypal so it automatically shipped"
They did not bother to check the shipping address with the invoice.
They are a Sears affiliate and I purchased the radio on a Sears card. If not for Sears, I would have been own my own to deal with the mis-shipped package.
Bargains Unlimited is a dreadful company and should be avoided at all cost. As a foot note the warranty issues and shipping made the purchase higher than if I had purchased the item locally. I am genuinely disillusioned with internet purchases after dealing with this retail bottom feeder on the the internet. "
"I bought a pair of speakers the first time I went with this site. I wanted them quick so paid $35 for one day shipping. After they charged me for it they emailed saying they couldn't do overnight to Alaska because they use USPS. Total BS because USPS does overnight and I was willing to pay for it. It's called USPS express service. Anyway, it took 4 days to arrive and they still charged me the overnight price. When I emailed them about it, the broken english guy said that is the extra to ship it to Alaska... BS! Your shipping calculator told me the price for standard was less than the $35 with my exact zip code. It was only $10 so it wasn't too big of a deal. I should have learned my lesson there, but I wanted to save some money with my second order. Bad decision. I ordered my second order at the same time as crutchfield and there shipping was free! The crutchfield order arrived in about 4 days while bargain unlimited who I paid overnight took 2 weeks!! Ridiculous!
My second order:
I bought and paid for these 3 items from their website on 3/12/13; 1 FORD SINGLE 12" 2004 FORD XCAB CREW CAB SUBWOOFER BOX @ $79.99 = $79.99
1 Pioneer Double-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver AVH-X2500BT @ $253.99 = $253.99
1 Infinity Kappa 680.9cs 6" x 8" 2-way Kappa Series Component Syst @ $114.99 = $114.99
They charged my credit card 2 day shipping of $100 which was supposed to only be $85, $25 for the 680.9cs, $25 for the AVH-X2500BT, and $35 for the sub box according to their shipping calculator with my zip code. They charged my credit card a total of $548.97. On 3/13/13 they emailed saying they couldn't ship the subwoofer box @ 79.99 plus $35 with 2 day shipping because it was too heavy and said they would refund the charge for the subwoofer box including shipping. It is now 3/30/13 and I still have not received the refund.
They also raised the price on the 680.9cs speakers AFTER I bought them and charged me the extra to my credit card without saying anything. Like maybe I wouldn't notice... I have the order confirmation email with the original price of $114.99 and they charged me $127.99.
This guy running this site is really shady, he responds by email in broken english and really short responces. I tried calling several times to their customer support # and it makes you leave a voice mail where I never got a call back."
"Bought an item from them on pricefalls.com at low price, for a week they seemed to be committed to ship it and a week later they changed their mind and issued a refund. At the end I haven't done anything wrong and ended up suffering due to their poor work. That's bad service."
"I ordered on Friday Feb 22, 2013 paid extra for over night its tues. Feb 26 still don't have my stuff yesterday I got a fed ex tracking number by email but the status never changed so I called fed ex and they sai bargain unlimited makes their own fed ex tracking numbers but no package was ever shipped with that number or picked up from the company"
"I ordered a radio from them on the 15th and when i received no shipping info i e-mailed them. They told me they had never received my order yet i can plainly see on paypal where they took my money. They then resubmitted a bill to paypal for me to pay and it was more than the original price i had payed, while at the same time they had not refunded what had already been paid!!! Terrible company ran by one guy it seems i also spoke with the broken english guy who has no idea what is going on funny thing is i ordered subs,an amp, complete new speakers for my vehicle all from other online retailers all have arrived ordered the head unit from bargainunlimted the most important part and they have no idea it was even oredered from them. I was also given the story of your adress does not match your billing and i am positive they are the same as i only have one adress what other adress would i put in the order? And i for damn sure know my paypal adress is the same. "
"bargains un-Limited was about the worst experience of my life as far as buying online. There shipping is over priced and are unwilling to work with you if you have any issues. After I made my order I sent an Email That minute saying sorry never mind please cancel my order. They responeded 3 days later saying sure. I find out on the 2nd when I see they have not refunded me my order price. They said since you canceled we are going to keep $7. I tried at that point to just have it sent instead of paying there fees and they would not release the 7 even thought I said I would pay there horrid shipping costs. FIND ANOTHER RESELLER"
"Terrible! I was expecting my shipment on 7/30 and it did not come. I checked the FedEx tracking and they said it was delivered. I called and opened a ticket with FedEx. I then sent Bargains Unlimited an email letting them know. Here is their response!
Dear Mr. Speiran
Most internet sellers receive complaints about wrong product received, missing parts, defective units ,Product not received (particularly if signature confirmation is not requested) etc. While a few of these claims are genuine quite a large majority are from customers trying to take the seller for a ride .To counter this the internet sellers association have hired the services of Nick Welsh and associates an investigation and law firm.If we perceive that the latter is the case we are required to hand over the matter to them. They investigate the matter. They take the manufacturer up legally if it is a genuine case of parts missing, defective or wrong units, the shipping company if it is shipping related issues or legally proceed against the customer if they are trying to benefit by using the internet.
Our records indicate that we have shipped this product via Fedex tracking no. 700241160250536 .The online status shows it was delivered on the 30th at 3.49 about 4 hours before you wrote the email to us.
We would require you to send a statement stating under penalty of perjury what you mentioned in the email. Also kindly include (and this is important) what did you mean by you were "informed by Fedex".Was it that they called you ,the driver told you or some other method. Also what actions did you take besides emailing us once you were communicated that it was delivered and you did not find it.Somehow the fact that you wrote to us immediately after the online stated delivery time does not go too well with us .
We will forward that to them for investigation and further action. If any further action is taken on your part without providing the above requested statement it shall be legally construed as an act of wilful attempt to deception and shall be dealt with accordingly.
I will never do business with these crooks again - my product was a $50 pair of car speakers - hardly worth stealing if you know what I mean."
"I attempted to purchase several items for a new car stereo from bargains unlimited. I ordered from this company because a google products search showed their prices to be the lowest of any other store. I placed my order, the were no problems in the process and it seemed legit. The following day I received an e-mail in very broken english explaining something about not being able to complete my order because the shipping and billing adresses were different. I was sure that they were the same and if they werent it must have been a typo on my part. I didnt worry about it until I got to the end of the e-mail and it started talking about a 25$ charge for messing up their ordering system with different billing and shipping adresses, but if I resubmit the amount of my order I would have the 25$ charge refunded. It was all very confusing due to the extremely poor english. I decided to call the company in the hopes to clear up the meaning of the e-mail. I tried 2 different numbers 4 times each, a few hours later I finally received a call back. The first thing the man said when i answered was "Have you been trying to contact my company?" A strange telephone greeting for a place of business. I told him of the e-mail I received and he immediately knew of my order and explained the items in it without me giving him any information, as though it was the only order he was processing at the time. His indian accent was very thick and his choice of words made it very difficult to understand him. I then realized this was the person who had written the e-mail. I was very worried by this point and told him I wanted to cancle my order, but he seemed reluctant to at first, this worried me even more. After getting off the phone with him I checked with my credit card company and apparently he did try to authorize the transaction, but my credit card company had not yet done so. I told them to not authorize it and so far I have not received any fradulent charges by bargains unlimited. However, unless you can speak this man's native language I would not attempt shopping with this company."
