"Having an B&N giftcard I tried my first attempt at online B&N ordering. The site is so clunky and it took me about 30 minutes for what would only take about 2 minutes on Amazon. I like B&N but they need to update their online ordering to make it user-friendly."

"If you are just going to buy books to read and donate or resell later, I'm sure B&N are perfectly fine. But if you buy something, as I did with a Nook, and there is the remotest possibility you are going to have to return it, go to Amazon. I have never, ever had to go through so many hoops to return this item (which requires WiFi to use). I can't even begin to describe my experience but let's just say it was akin to trying to steal gold from Fort Knox. I say go to Amazon because almost always it is so easy to return an item.

"Ok I tried posting a review on there site but the reject it everytime. Guess they don't want the truth on there. I pre-ordered a book 5.5 years ago and kept waiting eventually it told me to pre order again. When I called to find out why I was told it expired I said then I want a refund and they said since it was a gift card payment they couldn't refund my money. I said give me a credit to my account and they refused to do this as well. I REFUSE to EVER buy ANYTHING from them as long as I live. I started using kindle instead. Barnes and noble has gotten to big for there own britches and someone needs to take them down. There customer service is deplorable you are just a nameless dollar sign. So thanks a holes for stealing my money. You have lost a customer that loves to read. I have spent a few thousand dollars through kindle since leaving them in the last 2 years alone. I read a lot and so does my mother so I buy books for the both of us. Yous loss B&N. I truly hope your company goes under, or gets bought out by someone who will implement much needed change."
