"Lost $30 shipping charges.
The battery purchased was listed for my laptop model. But laptop warning message clearly shows that the BattDepot battery is not going to work properly. I have option of getting a refund or replacement. After being forced to paid $16 for return shipping, dared I ask for a replacement? Going by BattDepot's logic, if the replacement is also defective I will have to pay another $16 of return shipping. After quickly doing the math $16+$16=$32, I wisely chose the refund option.
However I never got refund for the shipping charges. So in total in lost $30 for the DOA battery.They have stopped responding to my email and I can never reach them by phone.
Be careful if you plan to buy from battdepot."

FWIW - got 2 batteries from these guys and both failed within 2 weeks. JUNK!!! absolute JUNK!!! No attempt to follow-up to 'make things right', let alone investigate.
AVOID BATTDEPOT, DR.BATTERY and every other webstore they run!!!
ADDENDUM: they added a reply with what they called an 'apology' asking me to contact their customer service. I've been talking to your Customer Service for MONTHS trying to make this situation right!!! Telling lies and trying to act like this is a brand-new issue and that you haven't been given the opportunity to do what is right...is a joke.

"I have made a big mistake spending $70+ on a laptop batter with BattDepot. I bought a premium battery "Dr.Batter" and it died after few weeks of
use. I attempted to communicate with BD, but they do not respond phone calls ***-***-**** puts you on hold and transfers to a vmail which nobody reads), the web chat does not function at all, you need to drop email, of which I did a few. After many attempts I got a semi automated response with
RMA form to fill out and instructions. I completed all and shipped the battery via USPS, as requested. After three weeks I cannot get any response from BD,
neither replacement batter nor money back have made to me yet, my account shows "no pending activities". I warn any potential customer, DO NOT TAKE ANY CHANCES with BD, shop via Amazon or other reputable firm instead, this one is a scam. "
"BattDepot has the worst and the most unacceptable level of customer services when it comes to warranty its defected products. I wouldn't buy from them again.
I ordered a laptop battery from them and it works for 3 weeks only. I emailed the seller twice for an exchange but not no response. I called and left a few voice mails but nobody got back to me. When I finally talked to them, they were rude and hanged up on me a few times. I went to visit their office but the address of Suite#1202, 103-8580 Cambie Road, Richmond BC listed in their website is just a mailbox. There is no such suite # as 1202.
When I asked the legal name of BattDepot, they refused to tell me.
Their warranty page states that "Customers may request for a refund or a one-to-one exchange with us within (30) days from date of invoice". My order was within 30 days but they made me to follow a warranty policy that is for after 30 days.
This is not how a business should treat its customers!
